Things are in a weirdly bad state when official Gran Turismo wheels won't work with Gran Turismo. I have yet to jump into my rig and test my G923 since the update. I've mostly been playing with my Dual Sense (I tend to go back and forth between the wheel and the controller depending on my mood). I hope the Logitech isn't nerfed as well. I'll have to unfold the rig tonight and give it a go.

I think it has something to do with the “tweak” they did for T-GT and T-598 wheels in this update.

I got my mitts on the CR-V last night and to my surprise, it wasn't a complete disaster to drive. Sporty? Hardly, but it managed to take most corners around Catalunya without too much trouble. The gearbox is definitely interesting but I'm not complaining because it makes the CH-R feel like a piece of junk. Also, when I went out to my local Westfield yesterday, I think I spotted 9 CR-Vs - most of which in the parking lot. I also saw some Tesla Model 3s, Mazda CX-30s, Toyota CH-Rs, Mazda 3s, Toyota Hiaces, and Honda Jazzes. NONE of these cars are in Forza. I just think it's neat for GT to include cars that I can see whenever I leave the house. PD have to keep going down this path!
I found it surprisingly fun to throw around the corners. Didn't expect that.

Regarding the new Fiat I found it to be great fun and v. rewarding on corner exit as long as entry speed is kept in check. Some players (playa) reported understeer, but I only found that if I barrelled into corners too fast.
The car rotates nicely in turn but again only if entry speed is kept luke warm. Definitely a GT car and nice to have it in the game.
Haven't tried the SUV or the little truck. The 'Vette is great too 😎

The CR-V isn't quite as awful in the dirt. Still, the CVT is an issue, but seemingly less so. Although, slow corners are the CVT's Achilles Heel, it seems. You really have to try and keep the engine engaged as much as humanly possible, and keep your momentum going as much as you can. I had a fun time with it around Sardegna Windmills. It's less suited for tracks like Fisherman's Ranch (which has quite a few low speed corners/sections). Your mileage may vary of course...lol

The Tundra V8 swap would make more sense if you could do NASCAR-style mods to it.
Hopefully they patch the game later and allow to engine swap from the V8 Tundra, so lets see, here's hoping!

Something like this below (but the current gen we got in game):

Guy's... I hate to break it to ya, but there is just about ZERO chance of a CR-V engine swap. PD does not do engine swaps for EV's/Hybrids, and even if you could... You would be stuck with that CVT transmission (engine swaps retain the use of the stock transmission). So, probably best to let this one go. I agree that would be a very welcome addition, but it's just not going to happen.

The C5 feels sluggish. An odd mix of understeer and oversteer. Not a bad car, just a little underwhelming.

Anyone here own a real C5? Maybe you can chime in? because I'm curious if the real C5 handles similar to this. :)

I would like to know how the new fefe compares to real life. I bet there's numerous 812 superfast owners in this forum.

Unlikely for the 812. However, the C5 Corvette is a relatively cheap sports car, so wouldn't put it past GTP to have some users that own one.

Considering the Corvette is way cheaper then any Ferrari on average (even when brand new), I almost guarantee the odds of finding multiple Corvette owners here are higher then ONE Ferrari owner.

Just playing devil's advocate here (what else is new?)...

GTP is the largest and most recognized Gran Turismo site on the internet. If someone has enough money to own a Ferrari, and also enjoys playing Gran Turismo, this is where they are likely to end up. That being said, I have ZERO doubt there are WAY more Corvette owners than Ferrari owners on this site. Which is analogous to life outside of GTP as well, to be sure....lol

Sorry, might have already been covered, but was the credit limit updated in the last update? I'm over 100,000,00 and can still add credit from events...😀 Also the Mangusta (Christion Dior) is not being flagged as owned in my collection although I have it in my garage.... anyone know if it's a bug?

If you have bought credits or got a pre order bonus then those credits are added on top of the 100 million. The Mangusta is not counted as a car but a livery.

No. 100,000,000cr is only the maximum amount of "free" (earned in the game) credits you can have, but there is no limit on the amount of "paid" (bought from PS Store, or pre-order bonuses) credits that you can have in addition to that.

It is not, and never has been, classed as a separate vehicle. Buying it does not create an entry, neither for it nor the standard De Tomaso Mangusta.

Also the thread that you posted in is for an update that arrived nearly half a year ago, so I'll move this post (and others) into the most recent update thread.
