I think you will be happy. The best part is that we have all these choices for good wheels. As someone else said on this site somewhere its a good year to be a sim racer. 👍

I prefer the Fanatec wheels and find their tuning functions to be really awesome for console use. And I don't think you can do better than the ClubSport Pedals without spending tons more. The G27 gives you more raw feel and it's especially great for track cars/open wheelers. The Fanatec wheels are a heavier and dampen some effects, but that feels more realistic for me when driving production cars.

If you don't feel like stretching your budget to a Fanatec ClubSport package, don't even think twice. You're not exactly slumming it with a G27. It's a very, very good wheel, and there's a lot of aftermarket support.

Yes that is how I made my decision. I know Fanatec was worth it but I was budget limited from the started and as you said G27 is more than worth it for its money plus you have tons of mods to improve it!
