is there any difference between the Acura NSX and the Honda NSX?
i noticed that the lower-model acura isn't called a "type s-zero," and the higher one isn't a "type-r."
the specs look the same, but the ITR's are different, so i thought the NSX's could be too.

and yes, i already searched....

I wouldnt think there would be any difference in the two with the exception of the badging.
Honda is the Mother company for Acura so the similarities should be the same.
Good luck.

ok, but i'm talking about when they've been fully modified.
have yours been fully modified?

>> There's also a slight weight difference

- Honda is more lighter than the Acura

>> The stock HP of the 95 000 credits Acura NSX is slightly higher when compared to Honda NSX-S zero and NSX-R models

>> Acura is a left hand drive, while Honda is on the right

>> Acura has the turn signals in the rear quarter

>> Acura offers choice of body colours with a targa top black roof (Honda NSX-R comes with only yellow and white)

>> NSX-S zero has the greatest top speed and HP (when upgraded), while the NSX-R has a slight edge in terms of handling when compared to other NSX models

These are from my observations....otherwise, everything else is the same. In conclusion, remember that Honda NSXs are built for speed and style while Acura NSXs are more of a "show car".

I am a GT3 NSX freak.... I like any NSX because of its responsive handling.

~ Too bad I don't have the real thing :D Hopefully, soon.....in about 20 years ha ha

I am very honored to receive the title

Don't think there that much of a difference but me...I have nither one. I'll go buy them.

One difference I found, the Acura NSX that doesn't say type r can't be used in the Type-r races. It's annoying cause the Honda NSX has only 2 color choices.

One of your NSX's Vs. my Penzoil :nissan: Skyline :gtr:

Which would win :chkflag: I find the :honda: NSX's superior on strights but as soon as the bends start the Skylines kick butt :curvyrd:

On a wheel the Honda's both actually handle better than the Acura's, with less initial and mid-corner understeer when you're really pressing on ... you'd be hardpressed to tell on a DS2 though...

nsx's have improved. it used to be an acquired taste when it came to their handling. more stable and less twitchy now
