Number 1 Feature

The best feature of GT5 that I'd like brought back in GT6 is those gorgeous, near photo-realistic premium cars.

One word: More.

Let me venture to name a few.

1) Cockpit view (like in all of them)

2)Split Screen 2P mode. Believe it or not, that is something I still use and that I find essential in this game.

3)Personal BGM. Although I only use music for replays, and this feature is nothing new to videogames, I couldn't live without it.

I didn't even think about cockpit view! That is perhaps my favorite feature.

One feature of GT5 I would want back in GT6:

ONLINE RACING

:)

Standard cars.

No. I'm not a troll. I just don't want to lose the incredible number of cars in this game. Of course I would like them to be upgraded, and the extreme repetitiveness of some of them could be weeded out, of course. But I would never want to lose all of them to switch to only a couple hundred "Premium" cars.

Okay. Time to beat on me.

Big fat multi car grids - 5 AI cars to compete with is well best forgotten

I actually have to agree with you. IF (and only if) there is no way to make them all Premium, then the only option would be to keep the standards. I'm not kidding when I say that like 80% of my all-time favorites are unfortunately in standard mode. Not being able to play with them in GT6 would make me really sad.

I'm going to risk myself even further than you saying that cars like the Tank Car or the Ram 1500 MUST be in GT6 as well. Those are Gran Turismo trademarks even if many people hate them.

It seems like they could weed out at least a hundred standard by taking premium version and doing the slight modifications it would require for it to be considered a new car. Seems like they could use the one premium r34, and modify to meet the specs of the other standard models. This Would at least weed out the standard garage and make it a bit less repetitive. They can then have these available in the premium as a trim option ore something, so when going through the cars it only appears as one then you can choose which version from there.
If they were to do this I seems like thy could cover more ground with standard premium conversions.

Photomode of course. One of my favourite features in GT5. 👍

My favourite feature in GT5 : Racing modification!
but tooo bad PD didn't implement this seriously..

What would like to see and what should go?
Heal Feature/Hurt Feature (like you intended)

S'pose it could be done... I'll pick the top 20 maybe mentioned here I guess... Well, keep the suggestions coming!

Procedurally generated rally courses.

(i'd just like the track generator to improve a bit in the sense of having a bit more scenery and not having the tracks walled in as they are on GT5.)

Uh, the driving. <irony off>

Dynamic Weather,

Would be great if PD used info from weather stations local to the track and we had the real life weather option.

Great Ideas, but this is becoming slightly more like a wishlist. I'm asking what CURRENT feature you want to see in GT6, not a new feature you want.

You can't really pick a favorite feature because technically realistic physics are a feature. Same with weather, night racing etc.

Maybe you should ask what new feature (that wasn't in gt1-4) would you like to keep. For me it's tough to say anything but the course maker. Especially because we all know it would be amazing on GT6. Really in any sim, even rfactor, eventually you can get tired with all your tracks (even if you have over 200 like I do in rfactor, well except targa florio, the ring, and macau, they never get boring). I really think outside of the basics, the best feature any sim can have is an ability to never run out of tracks to race on and GT5 is the first sim to do that in a way that anybody access.

I see what you mean... And I like it. Will change the OP to that.

Both are CURRENT features in GT5 NOW, both posts just mentioned small qualifiers as to how these features can be improved. Are we talking about the same game here?

Do we? Are you psychic?

Dynamic weather/time options for all tracks. Nürburgring 24hr and la Sarthe at night and/or with rain are two of the greatest things I have ever seen in a game. Would love to see it on something like Grand Valley or Deep Forest.

Well I guess not, apparently there are some morons who don't realize that when it's implemented for GT6 they're going to add all the features they wanted to in the first place not to mention add more locations. Either you're one of those morons or you're just being a sarcastic jerk.
