i like the sound of that. im a maaaive fan of the dtm touring/ super gt cars. perfect for the nurburgring

What time would you be starting the race? Im in london so the time difference would have to be taken into account.

Before I get excited I need to know roughly what time this would be taking place so see if its even possibel to join in

Sorry, can't run it March 6th. Personal stuff. March 20th? Race is at 1:00 PM EST.

I am very interested and could do March 20th if I get permission from the wife. I'm at work right now so I will check back in later. I think it sounds awesome though.

Add me to your list, I'm in for March 20th. The wifey thinks I'm crazy but agreed to it. It sounds like an awesome but exhausting time to me.

My car is going to be a Peugeot 908 HDi that I am wearing down to meet regulations. Saying this, I might expect some powerful cars worn down, such as a NASCAR or another LMP.

How exactly do you wear down a car, i'd love to be able to wear down an LP 670-4 for this race.

I want to sign up for the race AAE_Apex_Zero. I'm going to be eaither in a HKS Evo or the HighEnd G37. depending on the hp. Is it 600 or 700?

Give it to your B spec driver to drive enduro races while you sleep / are at work (sleep at work??:sly:). Don't oil change, so the HP is slowly worn down.

I don't think you can diminish the HP from the LP670-4 enough to get it under 600. However, with the new update came the ability to limit power output. So unfortunately the rules are probably going to change since people will probably try to run a half powered X2010 or something else just as ludicrous. I think we're probably going to disregard the power/weight limit now and go with a PP limit for the race. I'll work with Storm to figure out how to best go about this.

Good to see you found your way here man. I hope you're serious about the long haul! 👍

I panned to run the Fairlady Z Concept LM racecar. I don't know it's PP but it is right around 600HP.

I'm going to lose because I'll probably stop about half way through to go eat or something lol.

I was looking through my cars and I have a sweet Skyline race car I may use for this. The PENNZOIL ZEXEL GT-R '01.

I'm keen for this, love the 'Ring (although doing the 24 there a month ago was maybe TOO long)

I'm in NZ so 1 pm EST Sunday 20th would be 7 am Monday here (my day off). All good for me.

Not too keen to buy a headset for one race though - I think we're all good enough to watch our mirrors for faster cars?

If that's the date & time and no headset required I should be in.

Is there a PP settled on yet?

Will you host this Open Lounge or in your private one?

And if we need a bathroom stop or a quick bite is it ok if we pull off the track? Should work!!

This will be hosted in my lounge. And to be honest, it doesn't matter if you use a headset or not.

Also, March 20th is a NASCAR race and i'm really into NASCAR this season, so I will have to change the date (again). Will there be another day we could agree on i.e. Thursday March 17th? Possibly Saturday March 19th?

PP will be set around 650 since I don't want a "Rabbit" guaranteed to win.

Yes, you can pull over for a snack. :D

I'm pretty interested in this! But it totally depends on the time you're holding it if I can make it or not... I can do Friday evening/Saturday afternoons GMT time

What kind of cars are gonna be used too? I'd like to use my Xanavi GTR, about 670 PP, can be lowered though :P

Great idea for a race though! Lol, just hope I can join in on the madness :)

Have you considered tire restrictions? Why not limit it to a more realistic racing hard tire as opposed to everyone just running racing softs, which (as shown in many threads) have an unrealistic amount of grip and do not in fact wear out faster than racing hards.

Also, using the pp system sounds like a much better idea than max hp and min mass. You could even go as far as prohibiting cars that people may try to exploit the pp system with to gain an unfair advantage.

If the proper rules are established to make this race competitive I will seriously consider participating. The idea sounds like a lot of fun.

Isn't all of this already taking place.

Aww man. Well, after some speculations by myself I have made this the official prize list.

Ferrari 330 P4, Ford GT Mark IV, Ferrari F2007, Ferrari F10, Lamborghini Miura, Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2, Formula Gran Turismo, Audi R10 TDI, Peugeot 908 HDi Matmut, and a Citroen GT Road Car.

1st place chooses his two, then 2nd chooses his two and so on.
Well 1.07 has thrown a monkey wrench in this plan.

Let the winner pick one or two 1,000,000 credit cars.

I'm giving control of this to GrahamTurismo. I am running a tight schedule so I cannot find an appropriate time. He will open a new thread later if he wants.
