Nurburgring 4 hour... what car?

Im just about to sit down and do the nurburgring 4 hr endurance race... what car did you use? or what car shall i use to do it??

I used the Calsonic Nissan GTR R35 SuperGT car on racing hards and won easily. So I recommend using a SuperGT car.

I used a street car, on street tires.

2004 Corvette Z06. 610HP - Sports Soft Tires.

I did my best to build the car to match the S2000 specs, but I found myself racing the orange TT because it had a much smarter pit strategy.

The point is though, you definitely don't need a race car, and you definitely don't need race tires. You do need to get 4 laps out of each set of tires though.

I won the race by about 15 seconds over the TT.

Caterham 7 Fireblade,instead of the supercharger use the high RPM turbo,i think youl get 220 ish HP ,alot funner

Didnt do the race in the end.. But will in the next few days!
Im ether going to use the caterham or the lotus r111 rm... The caterham is a bit twichy on the long fast bits, hit a high kurb or put a wheel on the grass and your a dead man! Have to run quite a soft setup here.. The lotus is amazing.. Grip is amazing, nailing evry apex with out fail.. Lotus only has 236bhp, so have to get a good lead built up in the 2nd and 3rd sector!

I used a Race Modified Corvette ZO6. Wanted pretty and stable. Got pretty and not as stable as the cars in the German Touring Championship. Any one of those cars can win particularly the Lexus IS-F Racing Concept.
