In all the years I've spent wonderful hours with Gran Turismo, I've wanted to do something like this. This is a kind of spin-off of Famine's thread in the Race Reports section (low PP production cars versus Tuning cars in this race). This challenge is to see what people can do with a single car at the V-Course section of the Nurburgring in the 4hr Endurance race. If this thread is successful, I'd love to continue this with future threads and versions. First things first:
I played it today with the Honda CR-Z hybrid. I'd like to see what other enthusiasts can post up for times with various PP/tuning levels. Maximum stats for the vehicle: 329 HP, 956kg (2.86kg/hp), 508pp. You can put aerodynamic kits on this vehicle as I did. This will mostly be by the honor code; but I may require validation in the form of photos (videos are to extreme). If you post photos as a courtesy, it would be greatly appreciated! All I need to validate the photos are similar to these:

Requirements:
1. I need to see a photo from the Chase view or on Pit Road to validate the vehicle.
2. It needs to include the fastest lap (like the first).
3. I need to see the final standings for the margin of victory or a final lap split time after you go past the bridge (after Antoniusbuche).
4. I need to see the vehicle's statistics for PP/HP purposes (from the Tuning screen including mileage). This is best after the race and after an oil change-just to be equal.
***1 and 2 can certainly be covered by the same photo.
I've created an easy points system similar to Top Gear's systems to rate people and create a leader board:
1. Number of laps completed: 1 lap is 100 points.
2. Margin of Victory if you complete less than 27 laps: 1 point for every 10 seconds. (I will use the decimal).
3. Performance Points: 2 points added for every PP you have less than the maximum value (508)
4. Horsepower: 5 points for every horsepower you have below the maximum. (329)
5. Deviation from my best lap of 8:49.914: 1 Point added for each tenth of a second (.01) below 8:49.91 and 1 point subtracted above the time.
(FYI: the best lap has plenty of room for improvement at this PP, it was not my best mistake free lap possible).
For instance my score would be 2700. This will be the base score.
Hopefully there's some excellent interest in this knowing how excellent some drivers are out there. Once I get a few entries; I'll start with the leader board. Any takers?
