just did the Prius '03... its a typical prius in every way. Oh wait, I meant every single toyota bar the 86, which they stole anyway... it is slow, wallowy and the charge lasts about two laps so no chance of getting into a rythum (hate spelling that word). If you try to turn under accelerating or braking this happens:

Nissan Leaf: Its a good car. While the Prius shows off its flab at every turn, the leaf does a good job of hiding it and is the more entertaining car. But it can't reach 100mph...

Its sorta like one of those wacky health fads: Sounds cool, is pretty cool, but I wouldn't get one.

I hate when the hybrids and EV's can't go 2 full laps without losing power. If I can have unlimited fuel and zero tire wear, why not unlimited charge?

done the element, cappa, aqua and mazda 2.
The loss of aids is starting to pay off... I am getting faster quicker. 5 cars in a row I have beaten their original lap times... and shattered the fastest car by two and a half seconds.

1.58.053
The Mazda is wallowy, but the loss of aids seems to have made it a slightly more active and less boring car. Its also the only car within a second (or two seconds) of the Mini right now.

1.57.070
Well, the Mazda left a nice big crack in the ceiling... and the Mini made a huge and entertaining hole. It is better in every way, it feels faster and more dynamic, even though it is FF. I would almost call it a warm hatch.

did the Scion FR-S and a GT86 with TRD bodykit and upgrades (just racing brake kit basicially)
Both lose to the old times' elise.
1.48.687 FR-S
1.48.454 TRD

First personally tuned cars going up today:
Ford Focus ST170 '03 (as Ford Fiesta XR4 '08)
Ford Ka '01 (as an alternate Fiesta tune)
VW Golf GTi '05 (as Polo GTi '06)
the huge irony of course, is that the Polo GTi '01 and Mazda 2 (the demio sport has an CVT) are better candidates... but they aren't exactly sporty enough...

didn't do that...
but did do some newer, premium not very hot hatches. Of which the two premium ones with the word "sport" were terrible, and the one without the word "sport", and a standard, actually performed. Although points to the Demio, it beat its ancestor more soundly than identical power and 60kg would make you think... maybe its the fact its actually slightly aerodynamic. And doesn't feel like a van. The Suzuki feels almost as bad as the Demio with the CVT, and much worse than the manual.

added the BTR...
It is the most fun I have had testing a car, with the possible exemption of the Elise (but that was in the old list) so far. You need a delicate touch to drive it quickly... but it is very rewarding when you do. Might do a time with the car detuned to Porsche 930 Turbo stats later today.

Done the Corvette C1 with a 5-speed. Considering the old one lappeda 2.01.492, the additional three gears means a 20km/h higher top speed.

Did the Alpine A310...
Does anyone have a tune for this thing? It is like a BTR on hobbit size. However for its PP it is actually quite fast, unlike the BTR...

Exams are over and therefore a car has been reviewed... the Mk.4 GTi!

(my laptop cooling fan is broken so will have to archive lap times here until I can add them to my spreadsheet.
1.54.604 -362- VW Golf GTi '01 (Mk.4)
This car appears to have the same problems as all performance VW's of the early '00s on this game:
IT DOESN'T TURN. Seriously, buy the GTi '01, Polo '01 and Beetle RSi '00 and test them. None of them like turning. And none of them feel like a GTi/RSi should. Who on earth at PD went "Guys, we got a choice between the Mk.4 GTi, a 147hp excuse for a performance model, or the Supra Mk.4." "Which do you think we should pick, example programmer?"
Example Programmer "Er, the GTi? *programmer wants to leave work he is currently doing overtime*
"Meh, ok, lets do the GTi instead.

Did another car:
1.47.575 -450- Nissan Skyline 350GT '06

It is like an M3 but heavier and uninspiring.
EDIT: Nissan Skyline Sedan 350GT Type Sp '06... gee a long name.

And another.. deleted the old times and added another car...
The Celica That I Won In The Challenge And That Is Cool But Is Going In The Stockyard...
(caps for importance...)
Anyway, its 5 seconds slower than the Mini, and that isn't bad considering the Mini (I think) is kinda a concept rally car. Just like all the rally cars except the Tajima and P.P. cars, it was way overtyred.
EDIT: When FM6 comes out a similar list may be done. If I am not bored with the 'ring yet and Turn 10 add the GP-D it might even be in the same place, although Bugatti Circuit is also possible. It is hard to find a circuit that is all good for both Mazda 3's and LMP's (nice rhyme there eh?)

Did two today, the CR-Z and GTbyCitroen...
I already whinged about the CR-Z earlier, so I won't. And (excluding the awful brakes, tasteless interior that looks like the Flood ate it (no really it does) and unpredictable stopping distance it isn't that bad. And most of that would be remedied with RM tyres, which if it wasn't a road car is what it would get.

Nissan Fairlady 280Z done. Its kinda an uglier version of the earlier one:
1.56.021
I kinda liked it.
Two cars in one day:
The slower mustang. Its really a good car and much easier to control than its big brother...
EDIT No.2:
I got bored:
1.48.465 -453- Chevrolet SS 396 '67
The car needs more gears... although the principal problems with lapping muscle cars (geared to close) isn't as apparent on the GP-D, the lack of gears is.
I got really bored:
1.44.917 -492- Tesla Model S Signature Performance
The obselete Tesla. It is interesting... Also the brakes are awesome, they stop a 2 tonne car in the same distance that the Lupo GTi does. Things this car needs:
200kg of weight reduction (it feels lighter than it is, but the fundamental problem of this car and all electric cars is weight, this thing weighs over two tonnes)
That system you get in a Clio where it makes sounds based on another car (or any actual car sounds...)
The 691hp, AWD version.

But overall 8/10, and if this is where all of my $1 PayPal surcharges have been going I am fine with it.

Nothing yesterday due to malfunctioning controller...
1.51.891 -397- Honda Accord Euro-R '02
Did another:
1.53.696 -370- (really long name for the '73 skyline)
Finally something beat the Lupo...
