Australia
All car times done using the model sold in Australia... usually.
All road car times done on SH, all race car times done on RH.
There will be some tuned cars in the list eventually.
The new times are being done with ABS only, the old ones had Driving line, TCS 5 and SRF too.
Note: I didn't redo the ones below 280 as there were no major differences and I would have probably died of boredom.

Added Fiat 500 '08, Skyline '63, Audi A2 '02 (that thing is QUICK), Daihatsu Copen '02, OFC-1 (felt like it had more in it but couldn't get it out) and Volvo.

I'm testing all my cars in order of PP, and I have a tuned 2CV that I need to make stock for the event (it's around 330 right now).

Added Opel Corsa '01 (new leader), Honda S800 '68, a tuned version of the Honda Today, old Mini, Toyota Yaris '12 (it's fast but feels repulsive), 2CV, Nissan Micra '03.

Congratulations to the Vitz '12 (and the other cars that have now done it)

The Subaru (sigh).

Added New Beetle.

Also, moderator how do I get rid of my red writing... (I would appreciate you not stuffing around with the colour when I don't know how to change it back...

Subaru 360 is the worst-performing car in the game for sure. Do you think it's possible to get a 2:59?

I really don't understand how anyone could drive one in real life today. It would cause an accident.

It might be, but I don't have the patience to find out..
Considering in the 1960's the Japanese definition of "Supercar" was "138hp Toyota" (the 2000GT still looks great though). I feel I kinda have to insult Toyota right now as they have the four highest positions. Added:
Prius '03
Vitz '07
Leaf '11
Aqua '11

I think they made a version called the Subaru 360 Young with a bit more power and some twotone paint (makes it goes faster, ya know).

Added:
Suzuki Cappaccino '95
Mazda 2 '03

A Toyota isn't on top!!!!

Daily Progress: Added the old new mini, and revised the Mazda's time, also corrected the "fastest 350PP car" section, added Honda Element '03 and Mazda Demio '10 (its the newer version of Mazda 2 '03), R8 Gordini old rally car, Nissan March (Micra) and Honda Fit (Jazz). Gee, it would be "impossible" to use euro names, wouldn't it....

Also: why the 🤬 do automatics stay at ideal revs the ENTIRE TIME??? It makes them disproportionately fast.

Daily Progress (I will continue doing this even if noone else cares):

My first historical battle!

Lancer Evolution I '92: 1.48.602
vs
Impreza WRX STi '94: 1.45.773

The Evolution felt like a Micra 125R. Seriously. It felt a bit faster but I really felt that anything it did was detached, although it felt like the AWD was a lot more capable than the Subaru. The Subie felt like that the lessons learned in the Subaru Legacy RS were designed for road use, as opposed to the Galant VR-4 (the predecessors for the Evo and STi) were designed for rally use. The Subaru was spirited. It felt like an M3 (I have been driving cars that you use to go to the shops with, remember) as opposed to the Evo feeling like a CRZ. In conclusion, the Subaru was much newer and much faster. Although we still have the Evo 2... and 6... and 7... and 8... and 9... and 10... *person slaps some sense into me*. The Subaru felt like a road car, while the Evo was a rally car.

Tommorow:
Lancer Evo 2
Silvia S13 vs Celica ST185
All cars to 350PP that I own done

P.S. Thankyou to Doomstorm for the like and also to McClaren Design and SuzukaStar for continuing support. Remember if you want a car on the board (except for a 330 P4, I don't own one) you only have to ask.

Lupo GTi '01
Suzuki Sport '07
Mazda GL-X '99 (all cars to 350PP done)
Silvia S13 Dia Collection
Celica ST185 (the second part of my promise)
Mazda Carol 360 '62
Peugeot 307 CC (convertible) '04
Lancer Evolution 2 '94

Battles:

Silvia S13 Dia Collection '90: PP 392, 1.51.477
vs
Toyota Celica ST185 '91: PP 411, 1.50.904

The Silvia was a lighter but far less powerful car, and it shows. The Silvia is a car which is lightcore. The Celica is hardcore and feels... solid. Like a rally car. And not like a Silvia at all...
anyway better not keep doing these early 90's rally cars.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution II '94:1.46.139
This car is similar to the Evo 1, its just a lot faster... and the speedo goes to 320 instead of 240. Its better than the Evo 1 by a lot.

I wonder if you'll also find that the first Lancer Evolution to be as good as the original STi '94 is the Evo IV '96.

It took a long time for Mitsubishi to be an actual competitor against Subaru.

lel
from what I can see the evo 2 was a huge step in the right direction... I was hoping to do

Lancer Evolution VI T.M. Edition '00
vs
Subaru Impreza 22B WRX STi '98

Lancer Evolution X GSR '07
vs
Subaru WRX STi '10

Lancer Evolution VIII RS '03
vs
Subaru N246 Challenge '12

Daily Progress:
Added:
Honda CRX '10
Mazda Cosmo Sport '66
Toyota Prius '09
Eunos Roadster '89 (MX-5)
Corvette (C1) '54 (corvette is slower than a Vitz...)
Mazda 2 '15 (Dolhaus 400 PP tune)
Alpine A310 (oversteers like crazy)
Hachi-Roku (Corolla Levin AE86) '83
Spoon Fit Race Car '03
I have an ethical problem. There is a chicane on the track, and if I assult it like the Royal Marines (which would break the car in reality) I gain .600 seconds a lap...

Honda CRX '10?????? I wish. I think you meant CRZ lol

About that ethical problem. The way I see it is..if it would be grounds for disqualification in real life, don't do it.

added:
BMW 507
VW Golf GTi (Mk 4)
Ballade Sports CRX
Nissan Fairlady 280Z (semi-premium)
Toyota Starlet Glanza
Nissan Skyline GT-R (1973, the real ones are yet to come)
Racing Kart Junior
2000 GT '67
Pontiac Vibe
Lotus Europa
Spoon CR-Z... it beat a RALLY CELICA.... Illuminati confirmed

How do you like the CRX '83? It's a spritely little thing huh?

That Mk4 Golf GTI is just terrible. The Mk5 is so much better it's insane.

I hated the Ballade... I was so pumped for it and it let me down... and I liked the Golf... maybe its cos I am running more aids than you (I want to take them off but I have to do the whole lot the same way). Lotus Europa likes swinging the back end though...

Also, moderator how do I get rid of my red writing... (I would appreciate you not stuffing around with the colour when I don't know how to change it back...
If you switch your text editing to the BB Code Editor, you should see the code that changes the color. All you need to do is delete the codes. The code editor button is in the top right of the text box.

It is interesting to see another set of car comparisons. :)

I use TCS (5), Skid Recovery Driving Line and ABS. For normal driving I only use ABS. (except when my stupid PS3 turns TCS on constantly for no reason)
Where is the code?
??

er... the punto is that slow.
Tested: Punto '09 (didn't go faster though)
MG TG160 '03. This car is fast... but taking it over curbs is real risky, it loves to spin out. Its also the fastest non-tuned car in the 350-400PP range, behind Dolhaus's Mazda and Spoon's CRZ.
Hyundai Tuscani '03
Mazda 323F '93
MiTo

Tested: Civic '95
Mini Marcos '70
More embarassment for the Corvette C1...
Beaten by a Mini with weight reduction (what the Marcos essentially is)...
Oh and:
toyotaprius.jpg

Not to mention about three small japanese hatchbacks, a poor man's GTi and probably a grandma on a sunday drive.
Citroen C4 '05 (that beat the Corvette too)
BMW 2002 Turbo

another car tonight, and very special:
The Mazda Axela 23S '03
(or for people in normal countries like Europe, this is called the Mazda 3 SP23)
anyway, what is it with performance mazdas winning by ridiculously small margins?

today:
Lotus Elise '11
its a ridiculously fast car, and shows that track engineering counts:
1.47.690 -388- Lotus Elise '11
vs
1.48.602 -428- Lancer Evolution 1 '92
Renault Renault 5 Turbo '80
BMW 120d '04
Mini Cooper S Countryman (R90) '11
Citroen C5 V6 Exclusive '03

(See what I did there? :P)

On-topic, I'm a little curious what the addition of tuned cars serves.
