No, I can't do that to my car :)
I don't know the track that well, maybe in GT5 but that's different, I don't want to crash into something expensive.

This was a bit unlucky aswell :scared:

I know the track quite well, enough to have a clear picture of it in my head. Be daring and go out there on the ring  !

It's been a while but read this today.

The 'Ring is For Sale (and it's scaring me)

If you haven't heard already, the Nürburgring is for sale. The whole thing, lock, stock and karussell. Depending on your viewpoint, it's either an amazing opportunity or a woeful state of affairs that illustrates everything wrong with the government and politicians of today.

For me, and most other residents, it's definitely the latter viewpoint that is strongest. But what's scaring me is imagining who is looking at this big for sale sign and thinking that it's an opportunity.

Jens Lieser, the state-appointed liquidator, has gone on record to say that the whole thing is for sale, not just the concrete jungle of arena, museum and impotent rollercoaster. A potential buyer could walk away from the table with the F1-spec Grand Prix circuit and the humongous money-maker that is the 20.8km Nordschleife. Maybe it will be sold in pieces, maybe it will be sold in one chunk. Not only is this some prime real estate, but it's practically the centre of the automotive universe.

Let's hope for a bright future for all races, TF and all of the local businesses involved.

If I had those €125 million, I would buy it . Since I don't, I'll find it sad if Nürburgring closes for good :indiff:.

I wish I was rich enough to buy the Ring. Hopefully it is bought buy a car company or a motorsport enthusiast who knows what they are doing. As I don't want the track to close or be turned into a shopping mall or housing or a public road as I haven't had the chance to drive it yet. Hopefully I'll have my drivers license this Summer so I can take my car over there and drive on that hallowed ground.

This is a real shame, I've been following the support group Save the Ring, for a while now. Hopefully something good happens as this is one of the most iconic racing circuits in the world. An unending mass of both beauty and chaos, almost thirteen miles long. It's title, The Green Hell, fits so well.

Hopefully I'll have my drivers license this Summer so I can take my car over there and drive on that hallowed ground.

Be careful when you do. ;)

Bruton Smith owns many tracks already and could buy it (Hes worth 1.4 billion).

He is also the one who proposed building a replica of the Nurburgring in Las Vegas

Yeah, but sentimentality is an odd human quirk. It just wouldn't be the same.
