That is the Ruf "Fasczination" video with Stefan Roser driving the Ruf "Yellowbird" CTR. It's been postedmany many times here, both lap one and two 9I think this is lap one). Though I have never seen the file as a .MPG, it's always .WMV. So at least that is new.

Porsche 956 - Nurburgring 83

Hopefully the link above will work. Sadly, you will not hear the sound of the Porsche's flat 6 engine very clearly but at least Derek Bell gives very good commentry. Video features Jacky Ickx overtaking him on a fast section of the track.
 
The club I'm in (ESCT) as told me that they in fact had video cameras at the 'Ring this Spring Break. However they will not be posted.

Many of these videos are illegal. They are from in-car cams that were snuck into the 'Ring. These vids also feature some footage on the trackside, but will not be showed at GTP.

I wouldn't want to get Jordan in trouble with German authority.

It's Uwe Alzen in a 996 turbo race car with approx 700 bhp round the ring. I have the dvd but have just found this and would recommend a look.

For people asking about the quality of the Ruf video. I bought the video from Ruf a few years ago for a friend and the quality on that isn't perfect but it was still my mates best birthday present ever.
 
I just saw a vid of the Ruf CTR on the ring. Other than the annoying background hiss, it was awesome!:drool: That thing looked like it wanted to eat that driver alive!:crazy: Gives me a good idea of how much skill is required to drive the Yellowbird in GT4.

I got it + with skyline GTr , honda S2000 , but these videos are big and my homepage is desperatly slow ................:ouch: :ouch:
