My friends call me obsessed with GT2, but I just like the fact that there are over 580 cars!
-I have 216 cars (total) on four different m-cards
-I have a binder with a picture of every track layout; pics of my favorite cars (about 15 of them); a list of every car by manufactor; a list of every car by hp/wht ratio; a list of all the 4wd, FR, FF, MR & RR, all listed by hp/wht ratio
-I also have the highest hp/wgt ratio car made by each manufactor marked off, every car that I own I have checked on the list and which m-card it is on.
-With me being so organized, I will never buy the same car on accident

So am I:Organized, Obsessed, Evil, Creative, Or should I sell my info to Sony and the world :p

Haha, I know the feeling.
I was obsessed by the game too, just not as much as you. lol :p
Nice to know there are still ppl getting the passion for speed, driving and the pursuit to be the best at beating the game.
Kudo's to you all.

Obsessed and Organized: right here!

Except for alphabetizing the garage...that's a bit much; I do it by make, then model. Which isn't any less obsessive-compulsive, some would say.

I have never alphebatized my garage
That would be a pain everytime you buy a new car :p

-Chronix, I BMX too
got a Mongoose Menace with Eastern bar, Odyssey grips, dirt jumping seat, pegs on right side, Maxxis tires (can't remember what they are)

yeh, I got my bike a whiiiile back..... Diamondback Venom frame (yes, i know it sucks...), GT racing seat, pegs on left side, gyro²... Primo grips, uhhhh..... other assorted parts.... oh yeah, I also have Maxxis tires

it's not great, but it only set me back about $300, and this was 3 years ago. I havent taken it out much lately, and I'm thinkin of selling it

This thread has turned into an "obsession" with BMX rather than GT2.
I am almost as obsessed as you hsrdragger! Although I have never even thought of catagorizing the game as you have, however I have almost passed up having sex to play GT3. :D But I opted for the sex!

Oh, BTW, I am really impressed with your organizational skills! It's good to know that I am not the only "freak" when it comes to being organized!

"mise en place" French for "everything in it's place"

Hey, I've got my "cookbook" for GT1/GT2...a great deal of it's on my GT2 site. It's indispensible for setups, making hybrids, gameshark codes, trying trick stuff, and taking note of this and that in the GT world of mine.

speaking alphabetizing the garage...
how do yall do it?

i have my R cars on the top, listed in alphabetical make, then model
folowed by my "normal" cars, alphabetical make, then model

horsepower ay?
any other way, or just horsepower?

and who ever said it;d be a ***** when u get a new car, honestly, it isnt that bad... usually takes me less than a minute.
but ive only got about 100 cars, so its not all bad

nah, it doesn't take long if you buy a new car

you simply take the one you bought and put it at the top of you garage 'pressing start', then you find the car that has a higher horsepower than the one you bought, but is the closest (example: new car = 520hp other car = 526hp). once you find it, simply keep pressing start and sending them to the top until you get to the new car and voila!

My cars are in random order.
I pretty much know where they all are and really dont find it hard to pick one I need.
I just use r1 or r2 to decide on the car by make, drivetrain, etc.
Im organized, but not that organized. :)

its a lot easier to chose the car you want.. you can just go stright to it, instead of spending a hella load of time sortaing thru the unsorted cars
