Okay so I just saved a nice replay and would like to put it onto my usb stick, unfortunately I can't find where the replay is saved on my PS3. So... can somewhere tell me where its saved :P.

I believe you have to go into GT5, find your saved replay, and export it. It'll then be available from the XMB.

There should be a PS3 folder on the USB stick and the save will be in (a folder) in there.

What are you hoping to do with the replay? You do realise it's not a video and that it can't be used by anything other than a PS3 playing GT5?

He's right. I think the CODEC used for the video(s) is incompatible on computers, therefore, unrecognizable. It can only be read on the PS3. If you want to record your replays, you have to get a capture card.

It's not a video at all. A replay file just contains a set of instructions that allows GT5 to re-create your race/lap.

So,

WHATS THE POINT OF EXPORTING IT THEN, DAMN YOU PS3......

Perhaps if you can EXport you can IMport?

I'll see if I can get a replay file onto my PC later, link it, then someone else can try to play it on their PS3.

Ah... just remembered there's no Import Replay File command. Hmmmm.... back on your heads. Perhaps this is an unfinished feature awaiting the ubiquitous patch?

OK, so here's another question. Let's say you export a replay and can see the replay data file in the XMB. (There's no way I can see for one to send it through PSN). But you can then copy it onto some other form of media and send it to somebody else. If you do so, how the heck can somebody then import it to view it on their PS3. There must be a simple way but I just can't seem to figure it out.

Wipe the USB, put it in the PS3, copy the exported video onto the USB.

A folder will automatically be created called PS3 with the replay data inside. Send the folder to anyone you want, they then put that on a USB stick it in and the other persons PS3 sill recognize the replay data, so then they can copy it over onto their system and GT5 should pick up that replay data aswell as your own.

Or at least in theory ...
