I'm looking into the Obutto oZone for a game station in my room. From what I've seen reviews point to it being an excellent rig, and it looks nice as well. It has the added bonus of being a Racing, flight, and average gaming rig all in one, which is very good.

My question is, at about $350.00 USD, is it a good idea?

In my opinion it is the best racing rig you can buy in that price range, it is an absolute steal for that price when you have something like a PlaySeat going for more than that. If you have a little extra spending money though I'd recommend the R3volution as it is the updated, better verion.

What wheel do you use? If you have a T500RS you'll have to drill your own mounts on the Ozone, the R3volution has them pre-drilled.

I've had one since early 2011 and I'd highly recommend it 👍 The frame is solid and the seat is comfortable.

Yay. Great rig. Sturdy, fairly cheap, lots of add-ons available and it's been around long enough that pretty much every mod has been invented already. I have an older version that has been well used and it's still rock solid.

CSR Elite/Hopefully Clubsport Wheel.

I looked up some mods and this one looks very awesome!

Yay, here are some pics of mine I got 6 months back, I have made a custom table top for mine using acrylic stone bench top material.

I am very happy with the rig, it is solid as a rock, and comes with a few of the things that Chris mentions in his assembly videos that you should need like: It comes with allen key and spanner, and vesa mount screws and washers.

The seat is very comfortable, it was a little tight to start with but it conformed (broke in) with several hours use to my shape. I even play GTA V and watch movies in it, they are a very well appointed rig.

Hope this helps.

I have it but I think you would be better off save some money and get the revolution instead. It have way better adjustability than the Ozone. On the Ozone you have to drill holes to hardmount, no wheel will get attached to the wheel plate thanks to the stupid V-bar underneath, I also hate the adjustability where if you want it to be higher it gets closer and further away from you if you want it lower, I also struggled with mounting the base to chair the instruction manual showed no pictures, had to go online to find help.

I have an Ozone with a CSR-E, Clubsport Pedals and Clubsport shifter. I love it and think its one of the best rigs in its price range. I also like that it has a small footprint and it's rock solid. An adjustable wheel deck would be nice especially with the CSR-E and the angle bracket it comes with which puts the wheel at a crappy angle but I alleviated that by using longer M6 bolts and stacking washers between the wheel deck and CSR-E mounting bracket to get the angle closer to where I like it.......it works perfect for me. I'm 6' 2" and my friend who comes over and tries it is 5' 5" and he loves it as well.

I have had the Obutto since Oct, 2010, and I love it. It works great with my G25 wheel. I am 6'1", and it is very comfortable for me.

Love my Ozone. Drilling the wheel and pedal plates was tough but doable. Overall, you cannot go wrong, especially for the money.
