I'm thinking of getting one myself.
Can you tell me how easy they are to use as in can you drive as good or better than you could with a controller.

I just got mine on Friday, and I absolutely love it. No interest in a controller anymore.
 
I never realized how much I hate Deep Forest this track till I tried to be consistent on it

I know how you feel. I hate that track with a passion now

Edit: So Fridays at 8:00PM will be offical practice sessions. I'll post the room # and name every time I open up the room.

I am only cutting 1:09's and I know that is slow. Taping the brakes into the first hill and then just remembering where to brake in the blind corners.
 
Being that the next race at Deep Forest is 20 laps, that will require at least one pit stop, I assume. I'll have to go with racing hard tires this time.

In practice, I was able to get 1:08 with racing hards.

EDIT: I joined a room this morning with a few of my buddies. We were running high speed ring in ZR1 RM's. So after they left I stuck around to run some laps. These kids joined. Needless to say I ripped them a new one..lol

One of the kids starts running his mouth talking about, he's going to hunt me down and kill me. I was like "WTF dude, its just a game"
 
Yea Ive been in a few rooms like that, I was running daytona road course in first with like a 20sec lead and the guy starts calling me an asshole n stuff. So I turned my headset on and surprised them, apparently you are only a asshole if you are winning without a headset

Well Im deaf. So the only comments I get are their written comments. I think its hilarious. I was just in a room at trial moutain (of all places). I had the pole for over an hour. This dude joins talking about he has something he can beat me in. Needless to say he couldnt drive the X1. I just passed him in my ZR1 RM. He got so mad. I then got in an X1 and embarrassed him so bad. Dont let your mouth write a check, your driving skills cant cash..lol

Haha he was talking about the room he opened. Before he edited it, it was a room name and number for practice.
 
Opened the room early for practice/qualifying what ever you'd like to do. A final tune if that floats your boat.

I'm in race four of the B-Spec Formula Gran Turismo Championship at the moment, hopefully Bob can finish before 8:00. I started it about a few hours ago... six 30+ lap races (for B-Spec, that is).
