I haven't just because u only have a 360, I will get a ps3 eventually, but right now its impossible with our money situation.
 
In my opinion this game looks pretty subpar. It looks like a cheap downloadable game that I might buy if it cost $5-$15. But I am glad I didn't get it, much rather have Killzone 3.
 
People are spoiled on COD graphics. These graphics look just fine. They certainly don't hinder gameplay and in fact I think they are actually better in that it is easier to make out distant targets than it is in COD.

Call of duty graphics aren't that good. Black Ops graphics are pretty bad, and don't really compare to those of bad company 2, which is my personal favorite fps.
 
I think black ops was pretty decent graphically. I think this game looks awesome. I don't know where people are seeing bad graphics.

Maybe you should step up to a modern TV.

BO's looks ok, but doesn't look great to me either. And homefront just doesn't look good at all graphically, to me. I play all of my games on a 1080p PC monitor, so its not my tv/monitor either, it just doesn't look that great. I think they just rushed the game to be honest, they were trying to get the game out to try to take some of BO's popularity away and they just rushed it too much and it shows. If they would have executed the game with not taking short comings, then this game would have been the COD killer that I am waiting for. I am waiting for a game that will play as responsive and fluently as a COD game does, but take the game to the next level and get out of this every year the same COD but with a few different tweaks/add ons. If they are going to give us basically the same game every year then just keep releasing new map packs, most of the fan base plays multiplayer only anyways. I play through the single and get all of the achievements because I like to see the story and I'm also an achievement whore:dopey:

Had my highest score TDM earlier tonight. I think it was 34-6. I was on a real big losing streak because of all the 1-15 assholes on my team. Finally they ended up on the other team and it was on. There is nothing like having an attack heli in the air and they can't do **** about it.

Also, I unlocked the semi-auto M16. Not bad with a red dot.
 
This game blows away Crysis 2, I just got it in and I had taken Homefront off of my gameQ for gamefly so I could get Crysis in first, wish I hadn't of done that. Crysis 2 is the biggest piece of lagging crap I have played, great graphics don't make a game.

You're not the only one the say that about crysis. I haven't played it but I've seen videos. It looks great but people are saying the same thing. Personally I was never interested in it because it didn't look like something I would play anyway but I still find it a bit funny how hyped up it was and how people were saying its going to be the best thing ever.

From what I understand Crysis only has dedicated servers for the PC. I am tired of P2P FPS games. I think the future of console FPS games has to be dedicated servers or game makers stand to lose a lot of interest from potential buyers.
 
I think I'm the only person here to have seriously played the game.

It performs fine. They are working out the server issues right now so it may be a bit rocky at first. Keep in mind the game has only been out a week. They are also working on another update for all platforms right now according to their website.

Graphics are a dead horse issue. They're fine. They're not OMG WOW but they're fine. They certainly don't hinder the game any.
 
On the Crysis 2 issue, not only is the lag horrid but the amount of people just sitting in corners with cloak on is just horrible. Stay away from the game unless you like high blood pressure. I played Homefront enough to know its way above Crysis 2, i'm sending it back monday and I have put homefront back in my GameQ.
 
Crysis looks like another bad halo game to me. Some people might be into that but as one wise youtube commentator put it the whole game is basically ghost pro and juggernaut pro.

Graphics really don't make that game. I'd give the graphics in this game a solid 8.5/10 but at the same time I'd still play an FPS game with PS2 graphics if it was a solid title.

Homefront reminds me a lot of Battlefield 2 modern combat. I'm not sure if anyone remembers that game but it was before the BF2 series took a dump.
 
Why are the Korean soldiers so tall in this game?
Other than that, I have nothing to say about this game. It's just ok based on the time I've spent in campaign.
 
Someone would claim its easier to camp if all of the KPA were 5 feet tall. That would be pretty funny though. Maybe give them all black pajamas.
 
After watching the game trailers I realized I`ve already been playing this game for years

Crysis 2 is great, but not for me. I don't like people sitting in corners with a shotgun that are invisible:tdown: If they were out to make the best game for camping then they for sure succeeded, and did so greatly. Oh, and not to mention the game of the year for lag, even with my connection which is the fastest in my area, and I never have lag issues like I do with this game in other multiplayers, and most of the time I get host because of my connection.

I have been playing online with ps3 since day one. I have only had 2 times where i've experienced lag. This is the first time I have played a game of this type online except for short demo of MAG. I really like this game except for one thing. I am curious why, time after time, I can be blasting away on someone, seeing the blood spatter etc, and it seems they kill me instead with only 1 shot. Is there a trick to this? I have litterally hit someone 3 or 4 times and have seen I hit them at popint blank range, and they turn around and shoot me once and I'm dead. This perplexes me. Granted I am only at lvl 12, but the machine gun weps should deal the same damage as someone else using the same wep at a higher level right? Gotta go log in and play war :)
 
Try this again. I got this game the day it hit stores. Have played it spme everyday and there have only been 2 times where there has been lag. I have never played a game like this online(except mag demo), but i like it a lot. I do have 1 question though. I am wondering why I can be blasting away at someone, and seeing the blood spatter when they are hit, and they dont die. They then turn around and kill me with what seems like one shot. I can't count how many times this has happened and I don't understand why. Does it matter if I'm a lvl 12 and they are using same gun as I am? I just want to kill what i'm hitting without them turning around and killing me with 1 shot. What am I doing wrong?
 
If you're using an SMG at range and getting body shots its going to take more hits than it would for someone using a rifle and getting at least one head shot. SMGs drop a lot of damage at range.

I still really like this game but I haven't played it in a few days. The leader boards still don't show up for me and I went into a lobby the other day and it said I was level 1. I pulled the plug and when I turned it back on I still had my rank but now I'm afraid if I play a full game I might get the derank glitch. I have heard that this glitch is only effecting a very small amount of people but I'd rather it not be me.
 
It doesn't seem to matter if i use diablo, M4,or sniper rifle, I can run up on someone point blank and start hitting them 1st, they will turn toward me and bam I'm dead. I guess I am lucky that I havent had the glitches everyone else has had. I have noticed more than a few times that it takes a while to get in a match. I have waited several times for more people to join so that there are enough for skirmish.It seems my average is 3-4 kills and min 8 deaths to as high as 13 deaths.
 
I finally had a chance to rent Homefront last night. I played through the 4th level and almost through the 5th level. So far the campaign is indeed very good. Very dramatic and even had me going wow a few times in shock at some of the campaign. Especially the very first time they show everyone on the football field. wow. I had 1 bug where the AI got stuck on a stairway but I killed myself and restarted the checkpoint. So far having a really good time with this campaign. Directing the Goliath is a LOT of fun and some of those levels are a blast!

Graphics are not too bad but there seems to be a lot of screen tearing which isnt a big deal to me. The audio is excellent especially the gun audio. I heard the campaign is VERY short so I would only recommend this as a rental at this point. Havent tried the mp yet.
 
Wow now that is indeed a short campaign. I didnt even rush at all and it was only 4 hours long. But it was a very good short campaign.

Played the mp last night for about an hour and made it almost to level 5. Homefront has 32, 24, or 16 players online per game with land and air vehicles. It feels a lot like like Battlefield but more like Frontlines Fuel Of War. Especially since you get little RC mini helicopters, mini tanks, and more. I didnt have any connection issues and the online ran very well considering I was in the 32 player room.
 
The last couple of times I have tried this game, it has been unplayable. I have been having the rubberband effect. Run somewhere 3 times before I finally stay there. Also, keep getting disconnected from game session. All in all, very unhappy with this online. I will probably shelve this one or turn it in for trade at local game store.
