As you may already know, Polyphony recently tested about 140 cars. On Playstation Japan website, they have created a GT4 section which can be found here:

Here they have included a list of the cars that was present at Motegi-

It is in Japanese and it includes a disclaimer explaining not all cars are necessarily going to be in the game, but this is gives us without doubt a good idea of the cars that will be in the game. Here is my translation for you guys:

The list seems to be promising. Do not forget this is not a complete car list, just the cars tested at motegi during a 2day session. Therefore, this shows that AMG and M liscences have been obtained by polyphony, suggesting Ferrari and Lambos are not impossible. I cannot wait!

I'm assuming that those odd names are tuner cars.

Allot of those cars should already have models like the Airtec Turbo, Lacer GT-A, Mini Cooper S, Punto and Hyundai Coupe. All those cars were in GTC. Although I don't understand why they bothered with the ST Focus, when they already modeled the superior Focus RS in GTC. I'm happy to see M power and my favorite mid-engined 80's Japanese car back.

They better not have been testing this just for the heck of it, ///M vehicles would be a great selling point for GT, theres mad amounts of ///M3 nuts, includin me! i hope its in there.

My brother was telling me about the Impreza spec C earlier this week... Word has it it's an awesome car... Intriguing...

BTW Isn't the Nissan March the car sold in Europe as the Nissan Micra? The Micra Super Turbo 1986 was in GT2 - but you have it listed as 1968...?
 
Yeah the March is the micra, for some odd reason I keep seing imported Marches. I mean who the hell would bother importing a Nissan Micra?

It also says Nissan Sunny 1968, so maybe he translated it wrong or something.
 
Jackie Chan drives a March Superturbo in... I think Police Story... He drives it into a tunnel, to prevent a radio signal getting to the explosive jacket he's been wired to by the bad guys.

Anyway, I notice there's a Nismo March Cup Car. Should be a laugh :D

I own one, in fact it's my every day car. I'm pretty proud of it, I love her, she's my baby. But I would had never wish for it to be in Gran Turismo. It would sure be fun... Hey look I just pass myself.:lol:

I personally Happy as it seems they have a larger selection of foreign cars since it will be very fun to race and compare Japanese, American and European cars!

I drive a Toyota Celica Tsport now and I am eager to see the Trial Celica since its meant to be blistering fast!
 
Lets hope they all appear in GT4 :)

If you want true boredom you should try a race between a Toyota GT1 & a Mini Cooper on the test track in 2 player...

I was in the Mini, think I got lapped before I finished 1st lap :lol:

But doing it in a 4x4.... hope you would be able to roll em

I guess that would be the Nissan mm - R from Gt Concept, a really funny car to drive with very light weight and great handling which turns it into a quite fast litle number (hp is not given as in most Gt Concept cars). It comes some great looking colors too!
 
I'd expect it to be based on the old Micra, rather than the newer one... I HATE the new Micra with a passion...
 
I like the old Micra too but this new Micra R or whatever its called still is great fun. And not a bad car: I just got a 1'24.288 at Midfield with some room for improvement even for an average driver like myself- mind you I used stock/normal settings; you can get much better times alone with the soft tyres!

what did my eyes do to be raped like this?? seein this trashcan on wheels every other day is bad enough!

anyways i think theres gonna be a problem like theres so many Japanese cars from the 80s and 90s which is great i always wanted more old cars to be in the game...i just think that its harder to get old bimmers and mercs in japan for the testing...i mean the current bimmers are great i luv em but the old ones like the 6 series and the e30 are just so much more heart and soul cars i really hope they find some bmw and euro car nuts that have the rare models and get em out of the garage!
