Official Real pick up trucks thread

This thread is for people who like real pick up trucks. ( As in trucks that dont cost so much that you are afraid to park it to close to a store in a parking lot, or as in trucks that you can actually take offroad without getting stuck or damaged ) :)

Please post any pictures, or info on what (real) pick up trucks you have :D

And please no one post any pictures of trucks closer than 2" from the ground :banghead:

Would be better without the paintjob.

I think that I'll stick with my lowered SUV. Honestly, tell me how many people really go off roading? I doubt that no more then 10% of high rider pickup guys do it. At least with a lowered truck it can be used no matter where you go.

And mines not so expensive that I'm afaird to park close, also its been off road a few times...not by choice mind you.

Yeah, but don't they look badass with a 12" lift? :D

 Terrible stories man. :(

Monster7
Twin-turbocharged 540 big-block making 670rwtq on only 10psi. This is a real truck.

Oh man, I was wrong... I thought the "Official Pickup Trucks Thread" was hilarious but this is even better! Speaking of funny, it's funny how Monster7 mentions all the specs of that hummer and then you look at the speedometer and it only goes to 100mph. BTW, :odd: Redneck I'm glad you made this thread because the "Official Pickup Trucks Thread" didn't seem to stand up to your standards, I didn't think so either.

The specs I posted are far from them "all". The company who built the truck (sound performance) use it to tow their 9-second Supra. Why you think it's funny that the speedo only goes to 100mph is beyond me.

The speedometer in my Omni goes to 85. I wonder if the guy in the Chevelle the other night was laughing when he seen my tail lights.

Speedometres dont matter as well as max speeds. The Humvee is crazy, excellento!

The truck doesn't magically stop accelerating when the needle hits 100 MPH. And why would anyone want to take this beast up over 100 anyway?

You know how easy it is to drive a mud pit? You just keep your foot on the gas and have some good meats under your ass.

The bottom ones is my buddies truck...the motor is stock but the exterior...well you can see.

Here's a little contribution. Think it's safe to say these desert racers fall into the truck catagory!

The mud came up to about the bottom of the prerunner bar.

To wash it, jesus that took a long time, we used serval pressure washers and lots of scrubbing.

I'm not sure what the fascination is with driving through mud. I tried watching it on that show 'Trucks' on SpikeTV, but I just couldn't get into it. I'd much rather have a prerunner style truck.
