Hey guys' I think I have the official release date for GT4.
I read an article on IGN and it said that Gt4 iz comin out in April of 2004. Then I tried the site granturismo4.com and it read: Coming Soon April 30th 2004, so expect to see it in stores on that date or early May.
 
Granturismo4.com is not an official site.

My guess was 9th April - in time for Easter. So I expect it that month anyway.
 
Motor Trend says March 04, which isn't that far from April.

I second that... its all just rumors as of now but i'll just belive that its coming out before or during the summer, lat spring early summer im thinking but until PD or SONY confirms this I wont belive the release dates...
 
It would be good if it came out for my 21st birthday on the 1st of March!

No, you all hope GT4 gets released on my birthday. It's January 19. That's less than two weeks.

But, my guess is April 23 for the GT4 release date. That's my woman's birthday.
 
Hope they do a worldwide launch, other wise we have to wait for am month or more while very one else in the world falls in love with gt4 :irked:
 
I wish it came out now... why... no it isnt my birthday... its not anyones birthday that I know... its just I want it now and thats that :lol:

I hope it comes out when it's finnished so there are no bugs, if it means waiting then fine, as long as it's bug free.
 
I don't care if Tony Blair, GWB, David Blaine, Rupert Murdoch and Steven Hawking all came out and said the release date will be April 4, I -still- would not believe it.

Sony and DP will release the date, and that is the ONLY date that is credible.

BTW, today is yet -another- fabled release date, with still no GT4. At last count, I think there were 17 'official' release dates that have gone by, but hey, theres room for more.

I think we should wait until Groundhog day, February 2nd to see if Punxatawny Phil sees his shadow. If the he doesn't see his shadow, the game will be released on February 8th. YAY! If he DOES see his shadow, there will be 9 more weeks of no GT4.

I still have 8 bronze and 7 silver license exams to go for gold anyway. I only have 35,000,000 cr, and 1535 wins, so I guess I could go for 40mil cr and 2k wins. that should last me another 14 or 15 hours.

Then I can come back here and start mega-posting, since I don't have anything else to do.

Well said Effo,we have all been waiting sooo long for this game now that it seems like some fabled urban legend,that just dosn't seem real anymore. :odd: :confused: :rolleyes:
 
yea, i have been watting awile myself, but the way i see it is we wated almost 2 years so i thing 4 months shouldent be a problem.

besides even if it came out today i dont have 50 bucks to dish out for it. so the way i figure 4 monthes is money savin time then go to a 24 hour walmart the day before release and stay there all night and be the first to get it when they stock it. :lol:
