This is a fun league, but will still have points!

Practice on Fridays and qualifying and the races will be held on Saturdays both have 6-7pm start times

ADD polarbear345 AND smith1001 on psn if interested

This is a CLEAN racing league but we do know that bumps and mistakes happen so were pretty cool about it but if it's really intentional it's not ok.

There will be two classes gt and dp. Because there aren't any dp cars in the game we will use lmp cars as a replacement (you will have to really tune these bad boys down!) the rules and regs for each class are as follows:

DP: the cars are all lmp. The rules are 601 hp and a 1100 kg weight to make the laps pretty real below is the list of cars:

-Speed 8 Race Car '03
-GT-ONE Race Car(TS020) '99
-908 HDi FAP - Team Oreca Matmut '10
-908 HDi FAP - Team Peogeot Total '10

GT: these cars are going to be some of the real gt cars in the real Rolex series. Car list is below. Car regs coming soon

Points system:

This applies to both GT and DP classes

1st-80
2nd-70
3rd-60
4th-50
5th-40
6th-30
7th-20
8th-10

Winnings:

1st place get a viper gts 02 and 10 paintchips 2nd place gets a shelby 427 with 5 paintchinps and 3rd place gets a dodge charger with 0 paintchips

Le manns: March 9th-10th
Daytona road course: March 16th-17th

Real season:

Daytona road course: March 23rd-24th-40 laps

Monza: March 30th-31st-40 laps

Indy road course: April 6th-7th-55 laps

Mazda raceway laguna seca: April 13th-14th-65laps

Nurbugring gp/f: April 20th-21st-45 laps

Suzuka: April 27th-28th-41 laps

Fugi speedway gt: May 4th-5th-51 laps

Circuit De La Sarthe 2009 with chicanes: May 11th-12th-17 laps

Times: ALL times are USA EST

If you know you will miss qualifying, but can still race PLEASE let us know. just write a reply on here, as we will be checking this constantly in the hours leading up to the race! Also if you cant make a race at all, please let us know too so we wont be wondering why you arent there!

Friday: free practice, not mandatory, but STRONGLY encouraged!

6:00-7:00(may go over if were having fun

Saturday: Race day!

6:20-6:30pm: lobby will open. reset your router and work out connection problems now!

6:30-6:40pm: join lobby if you already haven't.

6:40-6:50: DP class qualifying (GT drivers must be in lobby).

6:50-7:00: GT class qualifying (DP drivers must stay in lobby).

7:00-7:05: good lucks and any track specific rules will be said now.

7:05-8:45(ish): Race!

dude thatd be SWEET! bring em along were prob going to have first pre season weekend next friday, march 9 with a practice session and then the next day a moch qualy and race to get used to the format and stuff

Hiya!!! Erm, I will race in the GT class, only I might miss the first race due to my TV crashing out a few days ago. I'll keep you posted though.

P.S. I have most of my GT prepped cars tuned to 500bhp and 1300kg, so I'm probably going to have to buy another car and retune it for this. I don't think I can match the weight limit on any of them since they're all practically ballasted out to 1300kg as it is.

RAD!!! Uh just a closed top lmp example; Toyota gt one , Bentley speed 8 and Peugeot 90whatever lol the premium one and this is a shot in the dark but raves will be 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours max I'd say

I'd like to go ahead and commit to the Bentley cause it's my favorite. >_>

Ok, after looking at the cars for the DP class I noticed that the Sauber and the Jag have 890kg. So, may I suggest the weight restriction for the DP cars be lowered to 1090kg?

Race length sounds good 👍

Hope this series gains lots of interest. =D

What time are the races on Friday and Saturday going to be? I haven't joined a league like this yet, but I'm consistent in the tt's between 1,000 and 5,000 place if that's good enough for you guys. I can race during the day on Saturdays, from 8am est to about 7pm est. would love to hop in if that works.

The only thing I'm thinking about at the moment is how exactly you are going to run the time of the 1hr 30mins - 2hrs? I'm assuming you're either going to:

1) Run laps equal to roughly how long you think it'll take for the lmp's to do 1.5 - 2hrs.
2) Run more laps than necessary, run to 2 hours and then somehow stop the race.
3) Other idea I haven't thought of yet....

I was creating an endurance series when I joined here for FF cars, and used a 100 miles as a basis instead of time, since it was easier for the tracks I was doing. I wouldn't recommend that here though....

I think I said that it was a shot in the dark like the first race at Daytona is 50 laps about 2 mins a lap 100 minutes max so that's about 1 hour 40 min but trust me it doesn't feel that long!

now technically the sauber is a group c car and blah blah blah but ya we may lower some stuff if it makes people happy and the raceing better!

Not that my vote matters a whole lot, but 6 or 6:30 would be better for me, but either way I'd like to join in. Interested in GT series, do I need to pick a car now, and will you allow repeats (multiple M5 s)?
