@ tribolik: No, the non-refund works conversion is not a bug. You get a warning message before your first works conversion that your pre-works upgrades will not be refunded when you sell the car once its works converted.

Just wanted to mention the Force Feedback issue again.It was mentioned once already.

After the first patch this is what happens with the Force Feedback.

The first race you run is brilliant.The Force Feedback is spot on,the twitchyness is gone and the feel of the cars is just awesome.You would think you were playing a different game.

After the first race the Force Feedback falls off the cliff and fast.Force Feedback goes away and cars start to feel twitchy again.The steering input is very light or hardly there and it takes a bit of finesse to control some of the faster cars.

Just to report that the freezing at high speeds inst only in the Ring... Ive just got a freeze with a Reventon works in Mount Panorama... I just hope my Fat can cope with all that force booting :scared::scared::scared:
 
I had a weird one yesterday... I was doing some Modern B class races and had the Murcielago selected as my current car. Right from the start I got my ass handed to me by the AI. After finishing it turned out I was actually driving a Lancer Evo (which I had driven as a loaner in the previous event) even though I don't even own one!

No love for the Shelby Cobra?

- Some parts of the custom livery appear on the front window, while racing or watching the replay in cockpit or helmet cam.

- In a quick race, when selecting the opponents to use cars from the "same class", all the other cars are Cobras, too...and they`re all red with white stripes!

- No body parts or racing modification...and I do not talk about a daytona like modification, just let us rip the bumpers off and make the fenders a little wider.

FFB after the patch as everyone said: perfect for the first race than disappears from the second on.

Audio issues: some night races have audio being interrupted regularly.

and if possible, (i don't know if that's part of the code wich cannot be changed) try to fix engine sound because when you rev seems like a on-off switch and it's not progressive as it should be.
 
Is the freezing issue more prevalent on systems that have a wheel connected? I'm asking because I'm not experiencing the random freezes that people are complaining about - and I'm playing with a controller.

I have not had a single freeze after the patch (and had only 2 before the patch).
 
I'm with a wheel and there's only one situation I can make the game freeze (its reproducible) Other than that I played for hours without a problem

Just got a freeze checking out my photos in autolog

it should be called- Seed for Freeze unleashed

EDIT: 18 laps into Mount Panorama endurance race and the game freezes in the long straight :ouch: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :crazy:

Strange one this morning, straight after installing the 1.01 update on ps3. Went to the first time attack event, with my heavily modded R32 skyline. When the event started, I was in an equally highly modded corvette instead. I don't even have a vette in my garage!!

WARNING to all that have custom liverys.

-You cannot sell any car if you have a custom livery, I already lost 3 custom liverys and didnt know why but Ive been working on a custom livery for a Reventon works (8 hours work already) and today I wanted to switch my GT1 car and sold the maserati so after doing that I imediatly checked the Reventon and my livery was gone - the car was all gray so I exited the game before it could save and I got my GT1 maserati and my Reventon livery back.

(Luckily I have enough credits in the bank so I don't have to sell, but still...)

Thats good maybe its just on my system...

Well it happened to me 3 times and in the 4th time I was luckely very carefull before letting the game save...

so you go ahead and sell your cars...

no DLCs

testing the patch I got a freeze on a GT1 car in the ring... so I assume the freezing issues were not adressed in the patch.
 
Just tried 1.02 patch. Invitational A on hard, no blown engine, no freeze, I can feel the car, the tires warming up, perfect.

And the FFB its ALWAYS there :D Much more natural now. Not sure about input lag because, frankly, I' so used to the game I don't even care.

Now i'll start all over see if I can beat my previous times :D

I had something crazy happen to me the other day while playing.

I can't remember which track it was,but the race starts all is fine and i'm in 5th place.I go around the first corner and all of a sudden a Corvette goes flying above me.The Corvette was fine one minute then the next it's flipping over my car.

I think i laughed for a good lap and a half.

- Sticky cars - I still get pulled off track by the car standing next to me like theres a magnetic force of some sort aplied to the AI cars.
- Freezing on some tracks with high speed cars
- Missing liverys - I sold a GT1 car just now and lost my Cayman S custom livery.

Not fixed.

At every start of the game I get a message a certain DLC car has been added to my garage but it's only there every second time, i.e. I have to restart the game to see the car if it's not present.

Even worse. S2U tells me every time a new car has been added to my garage but it's completely gone. I've tried to delete the DLC, save the game and download again but this didn't change anything.


Newly discovered bug:
Rumble (gamepad) can get stuck and never stops until the end of the race. This happened a few times during online races.

I think input lag has been improved đź‘Ť but it's still not on par with e.g. Forza.

I'm glad you are happy but this is a bug report thread, if you aren't experiencing issues it doesn't mean everything work as it should for everyone. If you don't have bugs, there is no need to post in this thread. So please stop saying everything works when it doesn't. There are lot of users still waiting they fix those freezes.
 
the opponent cars make a strange noise at replay's.
and the Pagani's make a strange noise at the race.:grumpy:
 
Few bugs I have been seeing lately:

PS3 Slim
1.02 update applied

• On random races, my car on the grid right after it turns green, will turn 90 degrees usually facing the wall and sometimes pointing downward below the tarmac and then stutters until I restart the race. After the restart it continues to point 90 degrees but starts normally. After another restart everything is fine.

• The game tells me about 5 times an hour that the "controller is disconnected" when my wheel (GT2) is plugged in via usb and all I have to do is press "ok" and its resumes where I left off. This only seems to happen while connected to PSN as I played the game for ages not connected at all to PSN on a second console and this never happened.

I tested different views and with helmet cam sometimes it makes a funny noise accelerating from standing still but disappears almost immediately.

Damn the car/track/speed combination isn't new for a freeze! A scary combination I must say. Thanks for your report and sorry if I was too rude in my previous post.
