My (well , my Missus problem) is She was creating a ghost image of her c drive using norton to put on her f drive, just in case installing vista went pear-shaped. Now she cannot access her f drive at all. It only is visible when she uses ghost and even then, she can't access the drive. HELP!!!!!!!!

Winxp pro version 5.1, 2048 mb of ram, amd athlon X2 64 4200+, X2 scsi/raid 250 gb hard disks. Is that enough information?

Have you got a big .gho file on the F drive? What options were used on Ghost when you created the image?

No. We cannot access the F drive at all. It has completely stopped being recognised by windows as being on the system at all! The options were to copy c drive entirely to F so she could install Vista and not worry about harming c which contains all the music, games and so on.

If you can, try putting the hard drive into another computer and see if it shows up.

If not, Ghost, as Giles said, probably molested your hard drive. You'll probably need to reformat it.
