I dont know how you guys deal with this stuff all the time, I would be pissed if this happened to an electronic product I owned and even if it did it once I would want my money back and get something else!

Have you tried another disc? are you sure its not the video cable or the tv thats at fault?

FM2 does the same thing if I'm scrolling though the cars "too fast" or "too slow" even using the directional pad vs the joystick SOMETIMES makes a difference if it will freeze or not. :lol:...

To the video cable, no... it's not that.

To the Tv, no... it's not that.

Yeah... I'm gonna be on the PS3 more so I'll see ya there Robin. :p

BTW, you got RSV2 on the PS3? I just got a copy. xD I'm gonna give my copy of RSV2 (360) to my friend because his BRAND NEW 360 has trouble reading his copy of RSV2 (no scratches except the outer edge), My copy has scratches...

Nah I don't have RSV2.... I do have old school GRAW2 which I bought with my console and I still love the campaign (haven't finished).... I guess RSV2 just passed me buy... might get MGS for its technical brilliance but I have never played any of the others so I wont get the story! :lol:

Your PS3 will be tut'ing when is sees ya crawling back to it! :sly:

EDIT - let me know how RSV2 compares on PS3 to 360, if it looks just as good I might pick it up.

I can 110% guarantee another game wont make any difference! This is a problem with the GPU or ANA/HANA chips (controls output to the AV socket) and is 99% a sign of RRoD creeping up.

Like I said, call M$ and kick up a fuss!

In reality that would never happen unless it happend within a few weeks of you buying it.

If you've had it for a while then you MIGHT get them to refund you SOME of your money. How much you get back depends on how much "benifitial use" you got from the product.

Even then you might have to take it to court to get the money, but the law is on your side. UK law states that such a product should last AT LEAST 3 - 4 years, so if it broke after 2 years then they might refund you 50% of your money because you got 2 years of "benificial use" from it....

Nowt you can do, either keep it or bite the bullet! But remember to remove your card details if you used a credit card to pay for it (you have to call M$).

I'm thinking it's the same 360 I got back. Funny, it still freezes in Forza 2 while browsing the cars too fast or too slow...
