Mosely is entitled to private life, however, what one does in public (dungeon) is open to scrutiny. Keep your 'dirty laundry' at home where WE can't smell it. He's made enemies and has few fans, reap the whirlwind Max. I hope Jean Todt gets his job.

Because it's true?

I know it's true, but it is his private life and shouldn't be spread across the front pages. Who actually cares what he does in his bedroom/dungeon.

Maybe these papers should concentrate on the good things that are happening in the world, maybe get involved with some Formula 1 promotion to boost the sport. Why waste a whole front page on something so trivial?

Controversy sells. They are only selling what the public wants/buys.

Because everyone loves to bring down people who are doing better than them.

…for the harvest.

True, but also sad.

Again, it's true, and very sad although I don't really care what people get up to, unless it involves Scarlett Johansson. Megan Fox and a large tub of body chocolate.

This is or tries to be a sport of gentlemen. His conduct is most un-becoming and the subject of boardroom talk at F1 manufacturers level. I'll be disappointed if none issues official condemnation.

I don't see why any official condemnation should be issued. What he does behind closed doors is entirely his business and does not affect his ability to do his job.

We shall see, either way. More bad spectacle for the sport.

i highly doubt this is bad for F1.

It will gain so much more attention, which will easily outweigh the bad.

BMW & Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Toyota have issued public condemnation. 'Max should quietly enter pit lane.' Don't Nazis' pop 'pills' at times like these? It will be interesting to see how Max decides to go.

Max has called FIA to general assembly, I wouldn't mind being 'fly on the wall' for that. Will the FIA senate stand up to him should he not resign? The drama!

Not really. I think maybe its because no one but ferrari and ferrari fans like the guy. He is a really rude person who thinks hes god when it comes to the F1 scene. Karma comes to mind.

Seriously, this is the icing on the cake, the cherry on the sundae. It just confirms and will totally justify what I was calling for YEARS. GET OUT MOSLEY!

What a breeze of fresh air coming! I can feel it. He's got so many detractors, he's done so many bad decisions and said things that were just not acceptable for a president of a business like FIA.

His comments on Hamilton, Jacke Stewart (which were totally unacceptable, I hope that Stewart sued him like he planed to do), on Ron Dennis and I'm missing some. He was the mastermind behind all the shady business that ruined F1's reputation in the recent years (especially involving Ferrari).

Anyway, his time has come. He should leave. This is just his call. If he doesn't, I wonder what will be left of his credibility as the President. Seriously...

Err.. what? (Ferrari fan myself)

Thought this bit from today's Bahrain press conference was a bit funny:

Q. (Ralf Bach - R & B) A question for every driver: do you have any opinion about Max Mosley's party last week and about the discussions since?

NH: Nothing I want to share with you.

LH: Same.

JT: No, no comment.

NR: Nothing.

Yet if someone were ever racist or the like in public they'd be banged up in jail, go figure :sly:

Seriously, it really doesn't matter whether it's his private life or not, there are still levels of right or wrong. *shrugs* The FIA are looking in to it, so I guess we'll see how it pans out.

What he does behind closed doors … does not affect his ability to do his job.

It does when it becomes public news. He was asked not to come to Bahrain, and that most certainly stops him from doing his job properly.

I think Sniff Petrol has won the internet yet again.

Mosley Exposed!
Formula 1 racing boss Max Mosley is in hot water this week as Sniff Petrol has exclusively obtained video footage showing the motorsport supremo engaged in SICK activities including pretending to be IN CHARGE of the FIA.

During the 15 YEAR session captured on tape by our spies, Mosley insists on being referred to as THE PRESIDENT and makes those around him follow STRICT RULES, which he then repeatedly changes.

Amongst the DEPRAVED acts caught on camera, our footage shows the F1 figurehead wantonly PUNISHING McLaren for MONEY. He later SPANKS Renault and, in scenes of unbelievable hypocracy, then KISSES THE ARSE of Ferrari.

The disgraceful footage also shows Mosley, 67, TORTURING Formula 1 fans by introducing HARD to understand development freeze rules and TWEAKS to qualifying.

In some scenes the grey haired racing ring master is even shown HANGING OUT with a DWARF, although this later turned out to be Bernard Ecclestone.

makes you wonder what other sick stuff people are doing right now. i'd be SO embaraseed if he was my father.
Imagine if he was your boss  My sister knows a woman who worked for him a few years ago.

I don't think Max Mosley's behaviour will dent the reputation of F1, but he has to go IMO. His position is now untenable... (I mean his job, by the way)

I have to admit the first thing I thought when this story broke is "I wonder what the editor of the News Of The World does for sexual gratification?"

He's developed quite the penchant for 'untenable positions', eh?

Uhh, maybe the fact that his father was a huge fascist?

Unless you were starting the sentence next with the parentheses?

Well, after trying to authenticate the veracity of this story I have formed the opinion that ITV & BBC are cowards for not covering it. I thought UK press were famous for following scandals. However, at PlanetF1 I learned Hitler was a witness at his parents wedding. Furthermore, should Max not prove this all untrue, it could be one of the biggest humiliations of a major public figure. I think he should step down to avoid tarnishing the image of the only sport I hold dear.

Thank you all for adding something intelligent to the conversation 👍.
This situation has not been amusing to me at all. More power to you.
