I loaded up Vice City today and went to load my 100% completed game and......

...I had saved another new game over it.

Over 230 hrs played, 53000 people killed, 1675 vigilante levels, 100% done, all my best times, etc. etc.

All gone.

I'm very upset.

oh man that's too bad, you should have made a backup of it on another memory card, i feel for you :( now i shall kill 300 people in your hounor (sp)

At least you get to play it again

INtegra can go ahead and pencil me in for CR record #3 spot then. I'm at 302,000 (I only got to play for 1/2 hour today).

Note to KieranMurphy-- Always, Always, Always make multiple copies of your games. I alternate 3 spots for my 100% game and each time I save I save over the oldest of the 3 games. Also, save often.

I need another memory card to be ultra safe though.

i was thinking we should keep his old times.. maybe i'll make a serpate spot for "kieran murphy's" deceased stats or something.

Well, there's no reason my scores should be deleted. I just can't improve any of them.

Still, I've got another game at 71% so I'll get it to 100%.

****....I did that before with my 89% save, and that was bad enough...:| That's why I created multiple saves on the one memory card for Vice City.

I decided not to continue my 71% game. I started from scratch and I'm up to 83% so far. I'm gonna get that 100% again by hook or by crook.
