If you truly have a problem with something someone says, report it, don't take it into your own hands, that just leads to both parties getting in trouble. Trust me, I know from experience.

:ouch: Tit for tat? Eye for eye? Doesn't make it right. Nor did she specifically say that about your daughter, or even know that your daughter attends that school.


But, to retaliate as such... I'm going to show my loyalty and friendship with Katie. She's a friend, and I don't want her to have to deal with someone who clearly hasn't read the AUP's rules about not harassing or insulting other members.

So, with respect, drop it. You're still in the wrong, it doesn't matter.

But, as Famine implied, are you sure you're old enough to own a car? To have a daughter? The tit for tat mentality speaks of low maturity.

An acceptable one to choose, sure. It's a shame it took a member of staff pointing out the truth for you to change it. Keep up the poor, insulting attitude, and you may just end up banned before we address the whole lying thing.

Bit of both really, but normally the claim takes place in another thread. Then the argument finds its way here.
 
They get directed here when someone, usually (but not always) a staff member, comes across a post and asks for proof.

Seems like he's trying to steer the subject away from those cars he supposedly owns and decided to be overly defensive in one go with that post directed at Katie. Good start if you ask me.

It's a shame I can't stay up to see this come to a possible conclusion though. *Sigh*
