When you go into Pit Service there should be something underneath Change Oil Cr. 250. It should read:
"Last Changed: 10/3/2014 @ 1,256 miles".
For one, sometimes you'll come across a tune that requires an oil change. There is no way to know if you've given that car an oil change, unless you're the type of person who does an oil change immediately after purchasing a new car. I don't do that because I like to be able to run my cars stock, if I want to.
Anyway, this would also be helpful for knowing when to re-change the oil. Let's say you're really going hard in a weekly Seasonal Event (Super Lap), doing lap after lap after lap. That oil is going to break down eventually, as will your body rigidity.
Perhaps it would even be better to have an Oil Quality meter, kind of like what they currently have for our tire(s) indicator. It could either change colors, or lines would disappear to signify degrading oil.
Does this make sense to anyone?
