Oil Decreasing? Engine Overhaul?

Hello,

This might sound stupid, but just yesterday I discovered how replacing your oil gives you more BHP and PP. I was just wondering how long it takes before you need to replace it again, and does it wear out steadily?

Also, what does an engine overhaul do? How does it affect your car?

Thanks!

How often oil wears out, I'm not sure. But I do know over time it will go bad faster, which is also when you start to lose HP you can't get back from an oil change. Both of these problems are fixed by an overhaul.

Alright, thanks!

If you buy a premium car and then change the oil at zero miles, you'll need another one at around 130 miles, and I think it's something like every 150-200 miles. Even then I'm not sure. Just watch your engine power and change the oil if it suddenly loses like 15-20 HP.

Until you reach a point of high mileage, where even an engine overhaul will not restore full, broken-in hp anymore. At that point, you have to use a Refresh ticket to reset the mileage or get another car. ;)

The oil should last close to what it does in real life considering they have real time 24 hour endurance races and long series races... such as the Formula GT race. You can go for about 8 to 10,000 miles on 1 engine before you need to rebuild it... not sure how long before you need to retire the car.
