Huh??

The one ur lookin at is for ALL systems and doesnt have force feedback, buy the PS2 specific version and you will get force feedback and no it does not have shifting problems, and the PS2 specific version costs less - so get it - it isnt on that website u were lookin at, so look around sum more

Dude,

I looked at the Mad Catz site, and under wheels for the Playstation 2 there is a universal one, one just for the PS2 and a micro mini one. All three do not have force feedback. Which one are you talking about ????

Umm... No. It does not have force feedback. I read the write up on all three of those wheels, and they do not have force feedback. They have "vibration feedback" which is just like a dualshock controller's vibration, but they do not have "force feedback".

Also to note. I bought the Mad Catz MC2 universal wheel last night, and it does not have force feedback. It has the vibrations in the wheel when you run over the ribbon or crash.

Other than it not having force feedback, it is a great wheel. Within 1/2 hour of using it, I was already kickin a$$.

Who ever is not using a wheel is missing out. Spend a few bucks and go buy one. It makes the sim part soo much more realistic.

i thought it was vibration but it seems that aint the case

so what is it?

Force feedback is a motorized system in the steering wheel that can cause the steering to be "stiff" while cornering hard etc... It will actually twist the wheel in your hands as the car fights for traction or the car starts to drift in a turn. It is supposed to simulate the feel of a real steering wheel.

oh yeah i know what this is!lol

sorry for the interruption:rolleyes:

its like when you come out of anhard curve you drop the wheel and it gors back straight

thats nice:lol:

It does that too. But you can feel bumps in the road and the Red and white boprders in corners. Stay away from them!

I dont understand why you are bashing the MC2 wheel so much. I payed $34 CAN for mine, and I think its a great wheel. Blah blah blah force feedback. So it doesn't have force feedback. Its got a stiff feel to the wheel and doesn't feel cheap. The F1 style shifter is cool and feels solid. The pedal board is great. On carpet it stays totally locked in and it doesn't jump around.
