For the "kabillionth" time I have Restarted GT3.
I wasn't happy with the progress that I was making in my last one so, the other day when I was fooling around with out a memory card in, I put one in and "ran with it"
I started in Arcade mode. Did all the Races on "Hard". About half of the Time trials are done. Then I got impatient and started on the Sim Mode.
In an unorthodox start. I bought a very cool "mild-brid" PT cruiser from another of my memory cards.
Then I got my rally license, and I've been cleaning up the rally races.
My big decision will soon be wether or not to keep the Escudo.
Wish me Luck.

The escudo is fun. I managed to get the suspension set so i can actually drive it on the street with all 1800+hp intact. It's quite nutty.

First time around in GT3 I started with a PT Cruiser and absolutely hated it, so I started over and picked out something else. The name escapes me now.

the pt cruiser has prolly the most hp out of all the starters cars. I used it once too. handling sux tho

Sure the PT has the most power...but also the worst power to wieght ratio, now there is an intresting fact, wouldn't you agree? :p

this was my first car also....i love this car in the game and IRL....

sell the Escudo, the money it generates is good at the start of the game...:)

Good Move, Gil.

The early days of racing are some of the funnest I've expereinced. My brother and nephew Finally started playing GT3 (I bought it for them last christmas). They've been having a bit of trouble getting up to speed. They're stuck with decision like "I can afford tires or a turbo"

I can't remember the last time I faced that decision.

They've been asking me questions and seeking help in making the decision. So to help out, I've been going back and pick out stock cars and outfitting them to do a bit of testing for them.

It's unfortunately too easy to make money.

Gil, I'd say clean out Rally but leave the Escudo in the garage. Same with the Panoz!

Good luck,

AO

what are we gonna do with you?

wiping the field with an escudo is not cool... :p
I haven't even driven the thing.
I ran the first rally races in my 4WD, V-8, 300+ HP PT cruiser mild-brid. From there I went thru the rally races and cleaned up all the races you can do (except Type-R and MR) without any road racing licenses.
Heck, I even have 2 Pitzes!

Of course now I have to decide whether I go and get my licenses, or finish up the time trials...

Thanks,
And that's what I call bringing up the kids right.
I am enjoying myself. I have about 150,000cr in the bank. But I'm pretty much saving it, and doing the minimum HP upgrades.
I pretty much only "need" the Suspension, Tires, and Drivetrain mods to be very happy.:D

has no one here stared with the miata..... It was the first car i bought and i loved it to death, until i bought my Evo( the one before the tommi makkinen edition) that car absolutely rocks too. But yeah ive restarted the game myself a couple of times, just because the first races are the most fun.

Well, the guy that made it for me calls it mild.:D
In the Arcade mode, it's a match for the Castrol Supra in Normal mode at Midfield. It mods up to over 700 HP.
I've yet to take it over 400.
I love this little car!!!:D

Okay, I'm already past 50%, Unfortunately I may have to wait till 75% for the "Prize car Trifecta."
Saving the last set of races in Beginner for that.
