Anyone know how to repair these? A lot of the old cars around here had these installed and most of them, our vehicle and a friends included have the hideous age cracks in the dash.

Is there like a bondo or super glue or something out there and can seal the cracks back together? Don't really want to have to replace the entire dashboard for a couple troubled spots.

Sorry for the late response, a buddy of mine had this problem with his car. I'm not 100% sure but I think the shop he took his car to used bondo or some sort of binding compound to seal the crack, then match it to the original color of the dashboard. Try taking your car to an upholstery shop and see what they have to say.

Will do, thanks. Only issue I see is the pattern not matching

In that case, you might want to consider getting the crack sealed then having the entire dashboard upholstered in leather or alcantara.

That's what I'm trying to avoid. Getting it redone in either of those would throw everything else off.

The old stuff had almost really small odd shaped patterns up close. Hard to see in pictures.

Couple examples:

I took this picture below of the pattern up close on the dash of our truck, as it matches most dashes installed on a lot of old Fords.

Have you been able to find anything on some of restoration sites such as Yearone or LMC?

Haven't checked Yearone. LMC I know doesn't have anything, I get a lot from them.
