Oldest Computer, still functioning (pissing contest)

On to this ProLiant 800 with a Pentium Pro. I beleive I had two of those nasty things at work. They were Compaqs with P Pro 200mhz and about 128MB of memory. I don't remember the model number but 800 seems about right. I think the first one got flung into the dumpster a good three to four years ago. The last one got tossed just a couple months ago. Good riddence! Compaq is evil. The only thing good coming from Compaq / HP these days are their laser printers.

We ran a whole bunch of 1600s, and they were very reliable. Their early SCSI-3 disks weren't up to much, but they seem to have the reliability cracked now. We've just done an infrastructure refresh, rolling out about 60 ML370 towers, and we've got 30-odd DL380s in the datacentres.

The big problem with them is that they're so expensive. Especially for the Carepaqs. And it's quite galling: you pay all this money, and you have to build the bastard things yourself! Not like Dell.

HP laptops are teh suxorz.
 
i have an old p133 notebook that still works. well, it boots, but all the ports and pcmcia and modem have died, so it's not particularly useable. i get it out every few months and either install nt4 or 98 and play emulator games on gameboy and nes, or get all inspired and do an old linux or bsd install on it, then realise i can't network it so it's useless
 
I don't have the oldest pc, but still:

old 386-based machine from 1987 (I don't remember the specs, but i'll find them later). It still runs well, and runs Windows 3.1. Old schoolin'!;)
