Hi All ... I'm in the market for a new monitor, I'm eyeing up a 34'' wide screen, my local shop has a VA and an OLED I quite like the look of...

I'm tempted to fork out a bit more and get the OLED as the VA panel has feedback of some of the blacks blurring during quick frame transitions which worries me for sim racing ... But OLED has a reputation for burn in !!

Are any of you using OLED for PC and PS gaming ? Do you regret your decisions ? How long have you had your monitor, how many hours a day do you approx use it, are you already showing signs of burn in ?

I know the modern OLED's have all sorts of features to try and mitigate the burn in, but I'm a bit old school and I'm scared of the thought of having to replace monitors every few years due to burn in !

(Edited - It was a VA panel I was looking at not TN)

Not a monitor but I've been gaming heavily on a 65" LG C1 OLED for about 5 years with PS5 and most recently PC. Whether I've been fortunate I can't say but I've not suffered from burn in. On the sim rig I just use a 32" curved MSI VA panel monitor, more than happy with it.

Thanks for some feedback @Abarth_71
(You have some serious equipment, well done !!)

I normally run Triple 27in 1080p monitors ... Which are absolute bliss for sim racing !! But family commitments and a few injuries have seriously reduced my sim racing time, so I'm left wondering why I've got rig 100% set up for sim racing when sim racing is probably only 10% of my gaming time at this stage of my life ... So yeah for the first time in over 10 years I'm looking at getting rid of triple screens and going to a 34in 3440x1440p so I can get higher resolution for my normal gaming and still have a relatively good screen size for sim racing.

The VA panel I'm looking at is this one ... ASUS TUF VG34WQ5A 34" WQHD 200Hz Curved Ultrawide Gaming Monitor.
The OLED is this one ... MSI MAG 341CQP QD-OLED 34" 175Hz Curved OLED Ultrawide Gaming Monitor.

I know these aren't the latest and greatest tech (we have pretty limited options here in NZ), but the VA is well within my budget, and the OLED is over budget but close enough for me to consider pushing my limits a little bit more.
