While watching a couple of yt vids I've stumbled on this, I always tought F.Indy was an extreme series with tough battles on the ovals and circuits but.... look at this.



Are you freakin kidding me? You can't do that in America, seriously ? :eek:

What the hell is that? Formula Indy like Wrestling where you have a fake battle for the show?

OH MY GAWD. I can't believe that, what a disapointment.
 
Let me get this straight; In Indycar you are prohibited from passing down the inside of a rival? If I'm in the ball park here, somebody please explain to me why.
 
That's even more confusing than at Edmonton a few years back.

EDIT: Unless it was for running him wide, that I can understand.

It should be noted that race control has completely changed since that incident.

(Crap like that was the reason I never watched IRL, it's much better now)

To me it seems a little... .Somebody please explain me why you can't do that in Formula Indy. From the comments on the video seems it's "normal" you get penalization for this... Is really that normal or those marshalls were a bunch sexually unsatisfied girls?

Cant run drivers off the road. Whats wrong with that?

Here in Europe we think about Motorsport like Motorsport.
instead that looks like Homosport.
I feel very sorry for you, you can't see real battles.

But there was a good conrete "tarmac" zone not off road, and he didn't push him on the wall. Compared to F1 that is just... another World completely.

I think he was penalised for defending the inside line, he wasn't overtaking. Apparently you can't change your racing line (From the video). Stupid rule in my opinion, but I think the penalty is an isolated incident.

On another note, I thought F1 was bad for defending rules and penalties, but this takes it to another level. I hope they have a similar 'bringing the sport into disrepute' rule, because the stewards should be punished if this was a mistaken call as it really makes the series look bad.

As for Indy being for pussies, Michael Schumacher and other F1 stars have publicly stated they fear the Indianapolis oval and wont race the 500 because of that

I think you are mistaking the fact that you are an homofobobic sun of a gun with a specific set of rules made for a specific series that you also dont like or aproove... while the later may be discussed the first is against the AUP
