Apparently Omnis is 21 today. What do you guys think about this?

Personally, I think it is an auspicious occasion... Omnis has been known around these here forums for some considerable time now, and is well-known for his razor sharp wit and often thought-provoking posts and opinions.

Now that he is legally allowed to purchase and drink alcoholic beverages I am positive that will end soon and by the end of a month his posts will all be full of the same bad puns the rest of us older people find hilarious.

Happy birthday, Omnis!!! May your birthday bring you many a fermented beverage. Take solace in knowing that there are no more arbitrary age limits holding you back from all the rights an adult in our country can enjoy.

And fear the fact that the government now no longer believes you have an excuse to act in an irresponsible way. You won't feel, think, or act any more mature than you did yesterday, but you crossed that arbitrary age line that says you should know better.

It's all 21. Used to be by state I think... and the age was 18, but that's ancient history.

But I've been able to order beer and wine since I was 18-19 because I'm a big handsome mofo. I guess the biggest difference now is that I can get highballs and stuff (Long Island Iced Tea, mmm) and buy booze from a store without being potentially carded and embarrassed.
