On which system will you play PCars2?

On which system will you people play Project Cars 2 primarily?

I'm not sure yet if I should buy it for PC or PS4. I hope that the online mode will be good, so I'll probably choose the system which has the most active community, which I assume is PC, but maybe PS4 isn't far behind.

Also, I'm not sure whether playing on PC with a 21:9 monitor or on PS4 Pro with a 4K/HDR/OLED TV will be better. If the game looks great with HDR, I may go for the PS4 version.
 
Couple of weeks ago I pre ordered for PS4 but changed to PC today. My main reason is day one support for Oculus Rift and not for PSVR.
 
PC:

- Oculus Rift support
- I have Nvidia Shield, so I can stream 4k HDR to my 4k TV and play with a controller when I don't have time(or don't want to) to play with Rift/Wheel/Cockpit
 
PS4/XB1. Unsure of which quite yet...

Still trying to bash out a platinum on PCARS1 before release, but that's seeming increasingly unlikely.
 
If I do buy pCARS 2, it will be on Xbox One. I just hope it isn't a jaggy and screen-tearing mess like the first game. I'd take a stable gameplay experience even it that mean the resolution takes a hit.
 
PC. We are the master race after all right ? ;) (SARCASM!!!).

But seriously, I left consoles behind and returned to my PC roots when Sony and Logitech had their falling out and my G27 was no longer being supported on consoles. Haven't looked back, and will probably never return to the consoles. Just too many options for PC that are not available on consoles. Like triple screens, VR, other major online sims, etc., etc.

  • Home Field Advantage
  • A Day In The Life
  • All the online-oriented ones, including Community Ambassador
I originally got the game on XB1 and rarely played, but picked up the Complete Edition on PS4 at the start of summer.
 
So is PC2 going to be 4K on the PS4 Pro? I keep getting mixed info on this.

I already have a TV and surround sound system for 4K, so it will kinda suck if PC2 is not 4K. However, regardless of the above answer, I'll be playing the hell out of PC2 on PS4. ;)

At the moment, it's not going to be 4k, I believe Ian mentioned that a few month back. It may be upscaled to 4k or just run at lower resolution altogether. That's not clear yet.
 
I'll be playing on the ol' Xbox One since I had a $50 credit online with the Xbox store. "It's practically free" as they say.

Implementation of HDR seems to be much more important visually - as stated by people that played GTSport Beta in 1080p and in 4K. They say additional resolution detail is minor its only HDR that brings really worthy difference. And you know that GT will achieve max.visuals on PS4pro better then anyone - yet 4K just seems not that hot, unlike HDR.

So, what is HDR implementation like in pCARS 2? @IanBell

I'll be getting it on the Xbox One, which I'll be upgrading to the X come November.

Poll needs multiple options. I played PCars 1 on PC, Xbox and PS4. I'll be playing PCars2 on Xbox and PC to start and may add PS4 if there is enough MP action for the system.
