While GTA is great, and I'm totally stoked about that. The bigger picture here is the fact that it REALLY looks like Nintendo does in fact intend to go for a much broader audience this time. That is the big issue here. If they are going to have a steady stream of more adult themed games, that can only help.

GTA to come to Wii?

It would be awesome.

I hope Rockstar puts ANY new GTA on the Revolution (I'm still boycotting "Wii") so I won't have to buy a PS3. I'm getting a 360 around christmas...that with the Revolution should be all I need.

While I do support the idea for the Wii, I can't say it is a "reason to buy a Wii" for many people these days. Simply put, GTA has been played out and overdone. After playing Saints Row (not to say it was a bad game), I pretty much realised that I'm sick of this genre. Granted the "sandbox" effect has been good for many games, the whole thing just seems so "blah" these days.

It could move a few more consoles, but I really don't know if it will do anything to improve the opinion of Nintendo overall.

Now just imagine if GTA sticks also with Sony...which system do you think will reproduce better images and gameplay options, PS3 or Wii?
Of course we all know the answer, and therefore people who love the GTA series..will be tempted to buy the PS3 better.

Like JNasty said(he really takes the words right out your mouth!), Nintendo reaching the broader audience with the addition of more mature themed games should be a good thing. Like in the days of NES - SNES(best console ever).

AMEN to that! Vice City was by far the best and the one I only really got into, I loved the story the setting and the era, SA was too drawn out..... I cannot wait for Vice City Stories to eventually end up on PS2 because it will hopefully be some of the same great stuff!

On the subject of GTA and Wii...... I would be suprised if it happened seeing as Rockstar has sold out the everyone.... I hated thet way they broke with Sony becuase then you got all the xbxo fan boys mocking you even more! Obviously it would look as amazing on the Wii but at least would wont have to play mario party all the time!
