O.o ugly... where? oh, yeah, it doesnt have paint. well, I didnt built it to be a poser ^-^ it is a performer. well, anyway, I dont think that there is NO ONE here that would really get it on why to let the car in pure primer. let alone to repair the damage on the body. If you ask me, the cars doesnt look ugly, it looks absolutely mean. like its ALL, and I mean it, ALL business.. like it doesnt care on how it looks, but how much it will kick your ass. paint? we dont need no stinking paint. we need 1000 extra hp. the fact that the dude didnt cared about painting the car says VOLUMES about how much he doesnt care for posers. it is an incredibly brutal car. and it was MEANT to be that. not just another "nice" car, but a sinister one, one that you would be scared from looking on yer rearview mirror. er... well, its tailamps.

I'm all for sleepers, and not at all for "rice," but you won't ever catch me driving around in a fast piece of ****. I'd take a stock Buick GN in perfect condition over that WE4 with ghetto holes cut out so the turbo's can stick out of the hood like that.

I'm probably going to get myself a S14, sad thing is, right off the bat i'll have to put 700 into it. I don't fit into the stock seats, so i'll need to get myself a new one, and yes i'll spend 700 on it. Only the best for my backside. ;D

jeez, i was blown away by the direction this thread was going. i applaud driftster by his pateince and answering such ignorant and extremely over used statements like "My lug nuts require more torque than your car can make." in an un-retaliting manner.
let me share my views on such matters....
1. the we4 in the picture is a BEAST!!!
, those turbos sticking out from the ho0d are the co0lest thing ive seen since ive been to ex vi termini , just raw unrelenting power!!!! 8.5 is NO joke...
2. driftster is NOT A RICER, not am i, when i say the car is ugly. whats wrong with thinking a fast car is ugly??? buicks scream old people to me, sorry
i dont understand whats wrong with saying that car is ugly?? its a box on wheels with a twin turbo v-6....
3. if this is really the case of form vs. fucntion, why didnt the owner strip the sheetmetal away and just run the chassis with a huge rollbar?? wouldnt that be more functional than all that "pretty" extra weight??lord knows its not areodynamic, and drag is not by any means ideal.....
4. the comment about the lugnuts and torque thing is at horrible use when talking about a mr2 with a 3sgte. when combined with a mr layout and a very possible 400+rwhp, these cars are hard to be outlaunched and beat in the 1/2 mile, even by awd!!! so ur lugnuts require over 235 lb/ft of torque?? well thats how much a stock 3sgte makes...
5. the only gripe i have about anything driftster had to say was "i plan on getting a rice burner so0n"...no stock japanese import is a "rice burner". rice burner is not a term of endearment, it goes along with rice, and both are used way to freely nowadays...
japanese manufactorers dont make rice=stupid kids who have seen fast and the furious make rice ....
i think im done ranting, just needed to vent...my last bit of wisdom is "an amazing car doesnt fight for form or function, it finds the median by using both to its advantage"-me (thought up in like 15 seconds )
