If you did that and succeeded however, you'd then have to pay off that Ferrari. :p

Hmm, good point... Meh, It could double as an uncomfortable bed until I find the money to start my life again. :)

Ive been watching over this thread to see how my ideas of what id do if i only had one year to live compared to others. I notice alot of people are talking about "buying" high performance cars and taken them to extremes on autobahns etc etc.

When i first saw this thread i was moved by the "train-riders" want for a raw thrill and i kinda sympathised with him too as thats the kind of thrill i would be looking for should i have only one year to live. Yea sure doing 200mph down a autobahn would be quite a thrill but if i had that year to live i don't think a car would be (primarily) involved in any of my activities. I would want to do things like throwing myself out of a plane at 30,000ft and wait until the last moment to pull the parachute. Id like to go to go scuba diving around a coral reef in a hot country. Id also like to try a spot of wing walking and base jumping.

Essentially id like to travel the world and do all kind of extreme things that id probably not have the guts to do in some of the most awe-inspiring places on earth. Imagine base jumping off 2000ft high waterfalls, im pretty sure you could end your life with a large smile on your face after experiencing something like that.

Obviously this is just my opinion and travelling 200mph in a car floats other peoples boats more than mine. 👍

Spec....

PS. I forgot to mention id probably travel to Amsterdam too and buy myself a few hoes just so i can tick that box off the list too :sly: and spend quality time with loved ones (family not the hoes).

Gardening's vastly over-rated as a leisure time activity ;)

I'm sure Holland is a great place to source high-end gardening tools, but with a year to live, cheaper tools that will see you through the year can be purchased from most local garden centres.

Sounds like you have done alot of gardening yourself. Having been to amsterdam myself and having viewed the tools they have on display, many of them look far superior in quality to the average peice of equiptment we can find in England (not that im an expert). The dutch tools also seem to be more versatile and if i did indeed have one year thats where i would spend my cash ;)

You're obviously a perfectionist Ben, you can't fault a man for wanting the very best ;)
