Won it last night using a fairlady 350 race car. More important than the car is the match up... Having that GT-R out front sucked but once it was pushed back and the Viper was lead off, it wasn't too bad. Won by 15 secs...

I tried the 650pp race last night in a 600pp NSX Bob uses for the Spa seasonal....still too easy. A Ford mkIV with a big turbo is still the most fun I've had on the 650pp seasonal.

I'm going to try it in more cars that don't handle like they're on rails.....something I can't full throttle through the corners so easily seems to make it more fun.

Hey, if folks want ideas for the 650PP race, I have one right here - an RM'ed 1970 Dodge Challenger. I have owned the game for about five days, and this seasonal series was one of my first set of races (I do agree with the above posters about it being too easy to rack up money - having had the XP level door slammed in my face in the regular races, I was shocked when I finished 2nd at Trial Mountain, in my first attempt, and got 200,000 credits and went up 5 XP levels in one race ). I bought the Challenger simply because I love it, and decided to tune it to the max and give it a go :)

First attempt with 638hp roughly/605PP (every mod bar the supercharger) and racing soft tyres - snatched 3rd with a few corners to go. Leading Chapparel 2J was over 30s+ clear, so impossible :grumpy: Reminds me of the old Historic Cup from way back in GT2, where a 300hp limit didn't stop a Ford GT40 occasionally entering and owning the entire field :yuck:

Second attempt, same power but with modded downforce - more comfortable 3rd, but still 14s down on the lead 2 cars

Third attempt, with supercharger on - power up to 772hp 👍 This time, pretty easy. Passed the two lead cars on lap 4 and cruised to victory. The two lead cars were the Nissan GTR LM Race Car (I think) and the Ford GT LM (the gulf blue variant).

I would say, with a bit of tuning and testing of tyre choices etc (perhaps going to racing hard or medium), a really good close race is achievable here. As long as the 2J doesn't turn up 👎 The big Challenger is fun to drive, and doesn't handle as terribly as you think - turn in is good, and though it isn't nimble and will understeer if you launch it in too hard into a corner, I got it purring nicely around the track. Snap oversteer when powering down off corners is a problem though, so watch out, the big Dodge can bite :scared: Daft biker, you wanted a car that didn't handle like it was on rails - here might be your car? :)

Just an idea I thought I'd share.
