Howdy, y'all! Been to any spellin' and punctuation bees lately?

Anyway, in addition to the Chaparral 2J (from Midland, Texas!), you can use the BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car or the Pagani Zonda R '09, and git right up front in 2 or 3 laps.

Sometimes it's easiest to exit the first race (after console reset) which features rapid "rabbit" competition - like another BMW McLaren GTR Race Car - and take on something a mite easier, like the Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II. Just enter/exit one lineup after another until you find a slow one on the pole position. He will hold the field up for a while as you catch up.

Ride along with your driver and be sure he has the right gear ratio, so he's getting well into top gear, but not hitting the rev limiter.

Just as Dotini said, you can easily win with the Mclaren F1 GTR Race car
Another car that surprised me is the Ford GT Spec II Race Car or Test Car
The B-spec driver seems to love it, and also won a lot of 650pp races in it for me!

I agree with this, all of these cars are great, if you have them... for you I would use the Zonda R because you probably have it. Now when you have the right car, Ford GT LM Race or Test Car, Zonda, 2J, Nomad Diablo, Citroën GT, just ask for me to try them and I will. Make sure to watch you driver when he is racing to ensure that you win. Also before starting the race check the other cars that you are racing, don't race something with a super high PP otherwise if you don't have the right car then you'll be blown out of the water. Get the car, check the opponents, and make sure you coach him. I get 3rd place with my Ford GT Spec II Race Car and level 18 Bob.
Would the Zonda be faster than the Ford GT Race Car?

Note that it doesn't matter what car you use, if your Bob is not a high enough level then it becomes much harder - it does say recommended level of 30 for the 650pp races on the info page, so be aware of this, and if the driver has a orange down-pointing arrow they will basically suck at this. Pick a green straight or blue upwards pointing arrow for a better outcome and of course pick a fast car for them to win it in easy. Which you will need if your bob is under level 20.

My lvl28 bob does it with these cars at 650pp:
- Pagani Zonda R
- Ford GT spec II race car
- McLaren GTR
- Nissan GT-r race car (The black one, I think it was the one in the dlc...)

Mazda Furai at with level low-mid 20's Bob. Beat a Ford GT Race Car Spec 2. Tune the transmission do the car just reaches its top speed on the straights. You get the Furai in the NR-A (I think) b-spec race with all Miatas.

Yeah the Furai is a good choice, and you can get it really early as well.

If I had a 2J, I would use that. However, in its absence I used the Pagani Zonda R. It wins easily (Level 31 Bob) unless the Mclaren F1 GTR is in the race and starting on pole. Then, you have a race.

My old standby for the 650PP B's has been the Zonda LM race car. Used a level 29 driver, the car has yet to lose a race.

The Toyota GT-One is a nice fit for this race. I would also think the Mercedes CLK-LM would do the trick, although I haven't tried it yet.

Yes, most LMP cars do quite well. I've used most of them at 650pp, and the lower end pp starting - not like your R92CP and R89C or the higher end Pescarolo's or Peugot 908 - but like the CLK-LM or the Esperante GT1 or R390 GT1 are pretty good at 650pp because they're close enough to it stock.

But as has been posted on so many threads there is plenty of options for these races A and B-Spec, it all just depends on your budget, what comes up in your UCD or what you already have bought from the UCD, and what prize cars you already have. So there is many different options, some better than others.
