As the servers are now back up, the new dealership offers cars which can be used for seasonal events a-spec and b-spec.

On offer now is a PURPLE Formula Gran Turimso!!! It says that the dealership will refresh at unspecified times. >_>

How much? Love the online dealership option.

Strange though, why not offer this in the regular dealership, we now have 3 dealerships, whats the diff?

I think the content may be different for each region, as reloading it still gives the same cars with the same colours.

That's a truly excellent addition. I may finally get my Formula GT - no more checking the UCD every few races, then forgetting and thinking "Oh god, I probably missed it!"

Now only 10...no, 11, no 12, no 13 minutes to wait for the update to finish.
 
Been waiting for 2 weeks to get one, now this wonderful update comes up with the goods! Purchased a purple and white one!
 
wow...I just got a formula GT last night too...although I don't have 5 million credits for one...so it doesn't matter...
 
These cars are in the used car dealership rotation, but it said when I first opened the dealership that it was here to make it easier for people to access cars they need for seasonal, a spec and b spec events. That's why there are so many nissans, because one of the season events requires a hot Nissan Skyline.
 
And can we not post our own cars for sale? I see no point in another dealership if we can't post our cars for sale and set the price?! Any thoughts?
 
I think this dealership is just to help players get the cars required to complete the races.

The FGT, the trucks and DTM cars point towards that.
No more wasting time checking the used car lot every now and again.
 
Got my Formula GT :) Mine's a very light gray color. Already dumped a million into rebuilding the engine and chassis.

My poor bank account :sick:
 
At least you didnt have to trade all your top race cars with some greedy b****rd just to be able to get one...
 
I think i understand what their intentions are and why the two dealerships are separate..The are looking to hook up more people in the online section of the game. People who don't usually connect to psn will now feel the need to do so in order to acquire these rare cars from the online dealership. That way you get more people logged in to the psn,therefore more commercials etc etc..

Yeah, I'll really miss flipping through 5 license tests, just to get the used car lot to refresh, then checking it to find nothing there, and repeating that painful boring process for hours on end just to be able to get a single car that is required to finish a race.

Well if you're gonna approach it like that, then of course you're gonna be happy with the easy way out of the OCD.
I just enjoyed playing the races and special events, which got me enough money to buy eg. the FGT. I wasn't being all neurotic and all fed up refreshing the car lot like you. I just went along with it, done my races and tests, and often check it the used car dealership. Whenever there was a rare gem in there, I'd snag it, and one of those cars was an FGT.
Now all you gotta do, is just race your Vette around Indy and there you have it, a very non-special FGT waiting for you in the OCD.:rolleyes:
 
The FGT is needed for a race so it should be available to buy whenever someone wants it, it's as simple as that. The only people who will not be happy with the Online Collectors Dealership are the people who were ripping people off by trading the FGT for cars worth a lot more.
