Online Drift Events

Surely it wouldn't be that hard.

1.Take the online race format we have at the moment
2.Phase everyone out so nobody can touch anyone else but still be on the same track at the same time
3.Remove the time element and replace it with a drifting score system
4.Leave on laps but at the end of each lap total the number of points scored from a drift
5.Instead of best lap time have best drift score
6.Highest score wins

No thanks , the drifting score system sucks and points doesnt mean anything,
All we need is private rooms !

Scoring system is not my choice.
A drift is a drift :)


Private rooms and special drift tracks, roads etc

👍 I was about to say the same thing

unless.. the actual D1 judges wouldn't mind do the scoring for us :sly:
 
OK, i see where you guys are comming from here, i'm not that great a fan of the points system myself but its the only logical way i can see of ranking the drift. You guys seem to have more of a free run approach which i like the idea of but then a time limit would have to be enforced or they allow drivers to enter and exist a session.

Why don't they have online free-runs where people can enter and exit as they like, it would be a great place to learn skills and refine your car choice and tune.
