Found this on another forum and as we have a great community here I think it suits here too. :)

Click click

(Some of the gifs are quite terrible but whatever, they get the point across! :D)

Oh god, look at the last picture :scared:

Moving swiftly on from those marvelous GIFs...

I have quite a few online friends, as do most people who visit forums ;)

My best e-friend is probably James (G.T), but just about everyone from the convo forum are people i talk to :)

Yeah, you can all get back to the pretty pictures now.

I feel I have a few online friends on here, of course I'd like to get to know everyone but I've met Ashley (and his gf) which was great fun. 👍 Other people such as Jack (911_Carrera), Jon, Appie, Jef (Sting), Dunc (DQuaN) and Marc (Omnis-Even if he does take every chance he gets at taking the mick out of me :p).

I'm sure there's more people I've missed out, but I feel I've made alot of friends. :) Very nice community.

And for the actual link, awwwwwww.
:lol::O

Well, I've made a few good friends here, namely James (G.T), Matt (PLmatt91), Jon, and Asher (Vonie). And that's not everyone.

And what's scary is that I have more online friends than real ones. :scared:

Ha, some of those .gifs are funny.

Pretty much all of my friends are online, the main ones being Jon., Duck, Cosmic, DQuaN, Diego440 etc, etc, (too many to mention).

Awww, group hug? ;)

The only online friend that I've met in real life has become one of my best friends. However, the real life introduction was a little awkward...

"Hi, I'm 3rd gen noob and this is TClite"

:(

Heh... I've just had a horrible premonition of what turning up at the UK GTP V is going to be like... :scared: :D

There's also the tension of finding things you have in common other than the forum or place you know each other from. For the first couple of hours we met Lamsey all we talked about was the forum and posts each of us had made.

I should be meeting Jon. for real some time soon. It's just that he's 100 odd miles away from me, so I can't just go there when I want to. :p

He'll be the first friend I've met from online.

Everybody here is my friend apart from Jon.

Heh, same here. The difference is, there's like 5 or so people i really talk to regularly, but away from the PC there's like 10 people i talk to every day ;)

Ditto. If i had a mode of transport other than my parents, i'd have met atleast 4 people by now :p

Ahh its only a one hour drive, what are ya waiting for. :D

It's about 1h 30m (while speeding a little). We used to go to that part of the UK often, but my Nan passed away recently so we only go there to visit the Cremetorium, which isn't often. I'll be dropped of at Jon's house while they go and visit it. It costs quite a bit in fuel you see, so it makes the trip more worth it (Dad is so tight on money :p).

I've made quite a few online friends that I probably couldn't really survive without. Namely Jack (both Radicool and 911_Carerra), Matt, Blake, Evan, Adam, and then when I need particularly stupid advice from particularly stupid people, I go to John or Jay.

There's a few from other forums here but I haven't met any one in real life. I'm going to the V8's in Adelaide with Jack in a couple of years though.

There's a lot of friends here that live to far away. The people I do know from Texas though, I don't know very well.

My closest online friend here, is John in Houston.

There's a few people I talk to from GTP outside of the forums, but it's a very small list. It's probably because until recently I have been posting very sporadically, and don't really know the new generation of members around here.

My list of online friends is dwindling away slowly as most of them are moving on to other things in their lives and getting real jobs/married, etc. most of these people aren't from GTP though, but a very tight knit hockey community that I used to belong to. Most of my 'online friends' now are just friends who go to school far away or people from Dayton (where I went to college last year before transferring), who i primarily use IM to keep in contact with.

There are some people I've only met online whom I know more about than some of my actual friends. Like a certain fat kid in Rochelle county, New Jersey, that drives (or rather, revs while sitting in his driveway) a Polo green 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28...
