I would have brought up the "pay for customer service" aspect of Dell/Alienware but I assumed you noticed that. Another reason I don't like them...
That laptop is pretty stacked feature wise. I don't see you needing to upgrade for several years.
But, you won't be disappointed with that Asus. All the reviews / OCN forum members I've seen have said that its a great laptop and a beast of a build quality wise. Enjoy it. Let us know how it goes.
if you buy alienware you have tech support for the life of the laptop, is what i was told by the salesman, he told me asus give free tech for the duration of the warranty, prividing its registered online, thats all you need really,
