Online Hot Laps Question.

Hello all, New here, great site.

Does anyone know for certain if you can "catch" the draft hot lapping prior to starting the race (primarily Daytona). I was testing with a buddy last night by hot lapping so we could back out and make changes.

It sure seemed like the draft was not having effect hot lapping.
