On the thumbnail of each online lobby there is a star rating out of 5. Does anyone know what it rates?

That specifies how well the Physics operate in the lobby based on the host's settings and the room size. A higher rating is better Physics, at the cost of limited connection diversity.

In the description it says it represents the room quality. So room quality actually means physics? I would like to know more about the star rating as someone asks about it about once a week when racing online.

I am skeptical of the entire dubious system. lol
The settings and indicators seem to say nothing indicative of anything.
And at times I've had people report "physics problems" like odd difference in grip levels or such... it's often isolated to individual drivers, not the whole room. :boggled:
So I'm skeptical of anything that would give a rating on the room itself, as it seems to say nothing about everyone's individual experience within a room.
I've joined rooms with lots of bars & stars, only to start the race with a black screen until the bell, & have someone lag launching high into the air after the race starts running.

Could be the fleeting issue of course. Fleeting in the sense of outdated.
Sort of like if you haven't freshly refreshed the room list. You might join a lobby that's labeled clean, and is a shuffle race, with Laguna Seca as the track, and by the time you join, there's an entirely different host, they're racing 650pp dirty with boost on high at the Nurburgring with 2 laggy-mclaggersons in the room darting all over the track. LOL
