There! Did you see that?! Apart from one corner where I messed up just before the hairpin (completely my own fault, carried too much speed and got on the grass :ouch:), it seems that if anything my Corvette has a cornering advantage, I'm sure of it. Every straight though I must have lost a full second though! Tell me how that's possible when I have 301kw, 574Nm, and only 1400kg!?:irked: I should be winning in this Corvette damn it, or at least competing, but my straight line speed is non-existent in a car that should be all over straight lines.:odd:

OK. Le's take both the NSX and Corvette to Fuji. We'll reverse off the start line to the start of the home straight. When the race clock hits 1'00 we'll flaw it and see who wins, agreed? A good ol' fashioned drag race, no slipstreaming allowed. I'll be there at xx:15 and we'll do just that.

Edit: xx:20 then
 
ok, but why fuji? you got something hiding there? ..I've only raced there the showdown races.. so, would suz be better.. at least to me to be consistent.. + no mistakes.. (I hope)

No, Fuji because the straight is so long, it will give a better indication . xx:20

We'll go back and line up, then at 1'00 mark on the race clock the christmas tree turns green.;)

Edit: Believe me now Timppaq? I just got owned in that drag race, and I'm 95% sure I was owning you in the corners, but I lost so much on the straights it didn't matter. I couldn't even keep up under slipstream!

The only place that you owned me was the braking points.. lol. :)

Hell no, I killed you in the corners. Except that final hairpin where the weight of your engine being on the drive wheels helped you get an earlier exit.
 

There's only one way I can show you. Seeing as I can't get close enough on straights to show you on track, I'll have to give you my setup, honed after many days of fairly rigorous testing. I'll post it in TLD tomorrow. And if you remember, in our race at Suzuka I kept up with you until the straight after that hairpin, where I got a full grip exit yet still lost to you and that WRX on the straight, by about 200m.:eek:

Friday night for sure. Thursday nights have too many good TV shows on, so only enough time really to get that Corvette setup posted.

I just drove an Acura NSX, which when fully modifed has similar acceleration to my Corvette (with a dodgier torque curve, ~580 PP, and 200Nm less torque, and 5spd gearbox [My Corvette is tuned like a 5spd for traction] :rolleyes: ), and it does't even come relatively close in lap times. The handling on it is not level with the Corvette. And I did tune it too. It understeers before having a non-existent turbo boost kick in (PD screwed up with the way they modify power and torque curves) and tries to oversteer. Controllable of course, but the understeer is in-excusable. It's an NSX for Pete's sake. (I don't know who Pete is)

it starts to be warm, luckily and he goes to the beach.
what frequented footsteps and at what time usually?
I will try to sometimes meet you in competition.

I'll be cruising suz600 a few hours starting now (might also do academy a bit so not all the time)... My friends came over, so I won't be using my ID, ..so don't punt me!! :D

we'll i got my DFP today, and it's fair to say that i am not as quick as i am with the controller. not really surprising since i have been playing with the pad on granturismo since gt3 came out. 1 hour into playing with the DFP i have improved my times alot since the first time i had a go with it. but i am still off the pace in say a f430 on suzuka by about 3-4 secs and i wasn't exactly rapid in the first place, so i'm not racing online with the DFP yet.

race with you soon. it has been quiet over at PAL. c'mon people lets sort it out.
