I'm getting ****ed up with all this demolition derby. There is far less punting in the 600pp Fuji race. I guess I'm going back there.

Sorry guys new post as I already edited the last one! ... The wait inbetween each race due to a train crash on turn 1 is just too long and I'm lucky to get 1 half decent race per hour 👎 and the rest of the time I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs :mad:

This is GT torture at it's worst :(

I didn't see where you went, Ron. I know you made it through the first turn, but what happened after that?

I got punted 3 times by different people in lap 1 alone that last race and after getting the 3rd I shouted some curse words so loud I think the neighbours must be calling the cops :(

getting ridiculous this now 👎 If I was to put a stats in my sig with how many assholes have knocked me off today it would be triple figures by day 3 at this rate :mad:

I have to agree this is getting pretty bad...

I've been away for a while because of having moved to a new place, and also because of work (2nd comming of the jesus phone :rolleyes: ). So last night I finally got some free time, the living room all for myself, and all that without being too tired and half asleep. So I fired up the GT5 Prologue on the PS3 and had a go online. Only to find it's not better, to say the least...

I found myself setting-up 20 lap races against max level AI drivers around Suzuka for the sake of soothing the craving, then turned it off to watch Tv.

I also found myself today looking at shelfs and wondering what should I buy to put my PS3 and FullHD Tv to good use...

That's saying a lot when you consider I'm a GT addict that has played and finished every game in series since GT1 (GT4 twice to 100%), and used to turn the PS2 and GT4 on, just to drive along the nurburgring or drift around some track.

I actually never bought any games except GT, and never though of buying any other game for the PS/PS2/PS3. That has been always enough, and I though online mode would make this a never ending game, and a permanent source of fun.

But now I find myself screaming at the retards that bump me off all the time, anxiously waiting for "player matching" for long boring minutes, praying some moron doesn't quit the race just because his mates aren't on the grid, or he went driving to the beach. That is not fun.

So I guess what I'm saying is... don't expect to see me online much anymore unless this "online" thing takes a radical turn.

I just noticed that I hadn't got my clutch on so I stopped and tried to figure out how it is done properly... got it on, but then saw you leaving the race... :( I hoped that we had enough time to stop for a while.. :D

That isn't a bad idea, racing 20 lappers against the AI on arcade mode, though the AI is still a bit slow, it is better than ever.. Maybe those of us tired of punters online should find a way to do arcade racing old school OLR style. Pick an under powered car, no contact, 2 wheels on track, post your final time, etc etc. I know its being done here already but I quite like the idea of multi-lappers OLR style. I remember racing in those in GT3 and Gt4.

hmm... would be like the old days.

Well, I did get hit by a red car at that corner, but I didn't see who it was. Probably lag, no big deal. 👍

It was me then. I think there was lag, because your car basically stopped for a second, and then you shot off the track. I wasn't sure, so I waited. 👍

Where did all the other GTP drivers go?

I think you just missed us, cause I think you weren't in the last 2 races I did, but I wasn't the only member there.
 
It was nice to see you in the F430 Racer_LP, because I can't catch you in the WRX. Well not in the Clio anyway. :sly: Fuji is so much fun in a RWD car.

Yeah, I got tired of winning almost every time and missing out on all the fun with you guys, so I switched to the F430. Sorry for my bad driving though :ouch:.

@ interceptor: who is gonna PM RPM_crx about his bad and agressive driving? I saw him punt you off and did the same to me 2 corners after that.

I'll do that. Did you catch where he is from? Was the white Impreza, right?

EDIT:
I just did my first official brake check on someone. Usually I just ignore punters and drive on, but they slowly are making me aggressive. I came onto the main straight after the first lap and ended up behind the red Mazda Atenza. He was just being overtaken by a white Evo and already swerved to the right, but quickly noticed that it was too late to hit him. Then I gained on him quickly and soon ended up on his left side. Just as I was beside him, he pushed me onto the grass. I just kept my foot in it (what did I have to lose?) and managed to get back onto the track cleanly. But I was still beside him! So he pushed me off again. Nevertheless, my prior speed advantage was enough to have passed him when I managed to come back onto the track for the second time. And I was so mad at him that I deliberately hit the brakes and had him rear-end me. Now I'm not very happy about what I did, but I don't see this getting any better. PD ... you know what to do.
