I thought that might be it. Well let me explain if I may. I was lining up beside you for the first corner and a blue Integra (Skylinecrazy [GB]) came and carreered into me, sending me crashing into you. As for the nudging, well, if I'm looking for a space to overtake while you aredarting around all over the place then contact will be inevitable. Oh yes, and I do recall you trying to push me off the track rather forcefully when I tried to overtake you and you also did manage to crash into the back of me, sending me off track. If I did push you or bumped into you I can assure you that it wasn't intentional at all. I hate these race wreckers as much as anybody else. So please, don't go and accuse others if you are just as guilty. I came here to make friends and have fun racing, not to create enemies.

JASE72, I see you switched the Alfa for the Citroen, what do you think of it?
 
I like it. Nice and quick through those esses. I just can't get past those 2 🤬 Integras. :sly:

And I see there's still a couple of numpty's out there

Yeah, they don't make it easy for you to overtake that's for sure.

As for the Citroen, it's great through the S, Anti-banked, and Dunlop corners. Just by modulating the throttle one can go through there cleanly and swiftly. Currently I have just put on R3 rubber, boosted power and lost weight. I might try and tweak the suspention and see if I can be a bit quicker.

Firstly, I don't dart about the place. If I see someone that has the legs on me I try to give as much room as possible. But I will not deviate from the racing line if a corner approaches. Some people need to realise this fact when someone is ahead of them. To many racers are trying the impossible.

Second, It might be just a coincidence, but i went twice in two separate races and both times you were there.

Third, Yes I did send you off, mainly out of frustration.:guilty:

Finally. I appoligise if there has been a misunderstanding, like yourself I only want to see fair & enjoyable racing. 👍 :cheers:
 
Your car behaving erratically is possibly just down to a internet connection. But I'm glad this case is settled now, no hard feelings hey? :cheers:
 
just had a good couple races with jase72 and from here, saw most of the names mentioned here tonight too on suzuka, quite a few non GTP drivers that were fast n clean aswell

wonder if there's actually that many people playing gt5 online, end up in small rooms quite a lot

EDIT: uk86ze you have that Honda glued to the ground, but no power out of the corners. As opposed to me... a bit tail happy but reving happily away :)

Check your PM's. Work those settings to your liking, since they may be a bit too aggressive :-)

And don't be afraid to overtake under braking. If we touch, hey it happens... That's still my biggest weakness on suzuka, especially on the last chicane.
 
Calling it a night Burnout. Race you again soon. Think the c4 is abit more balanced for me. Going to mess around with the tuning tommorow and see how it goes
 
Oh crap, I just remembered the most awesome race finish I've ever seen last night, of any kind. I was in 4th place, at Suzuka 500 PP, in my Alfa 147. As we came on to the back straight the top 3 (Rudi Raser, and 2 other clean drivers I can't remember) all got into a bit of a battle with each other. I sliptreamed up, overtook all 3 at once. Then as we came out of the final chicane, RudiRaser had a better corner exit, slipstreamed a bit and presumably his Integra has more straight line speed anyway. I don't know how the times went on his end, but he was catching me fast. He pulled alongside, it got intense, and I beat him by 1 thousandth of a second!:eek:
RudiRaser, I'd love to hear your side of the story on that one. I wouldn't be surprised if the times were messed up and we both came first :rolleyes: I'd also like to hear what you were thinking when it happened. 1 thousandth of a second can't get any closer without an actual tie.:D

Anyone using my Alfa Romeo setup may want to know it's had an update. Just check the 147 setup sheet in TLD. I changed spring rates, damper, and camber. It's faster now.

I got completely caught out by your slipstream in that last race :dunce: ended up in the sand.

There's been a couple of proper bankers on there this morning :crazy:

What do you mean? You weren't aware of the extra braking distance needed because you didn't realise you were going faster in my slipstream? Ah well, it happens. I was looking forward to you and I at the end of that race though. Have you got the new changes yet? Let's have another race when you do, just give me a time.

Edit: Oh yeah, and great racing in the first 2 races.:) I thought your penalty was unfair so I waited, but you sly dog, broke before the finish line making me win LOL.

Yeah the extra braking distance, I know it happens just got caught out Oh well. By the time I got out of the sand you were already round the spoon curve and every one else was past me too,so I parked it under the bridge. Then had a certain someone ( or should that be cretin ) in a red Lancia turned round a try to ram me:crazy:

Yeah that penalty was a little harsh. But i didn't want the win like that and Hey there's always the next race.

That first one that sent you into the kitty litter was my fault. You and I have very different driving styles, and I brake far later into a corner, I was pushing hard to make sure I was close enough to slip stream off you but accidentally nudged you. Not driver error, just mis-judgement of your speed. A couple after that were thanks to lagging, and then the last 1 where I sent you into JASE72 as well (thankfully we all stayed on track), was again me pushing hard to get ready for an overtake on the last lap. Sorry for that guys, I hope that doesn't put you off racing with me in the future.:guilty: I did my best to not hit you guys, washing off all momentum I had many times. But sometimes it still happens :indiff:
It seems there were one-make races at Suzuka tonight. You were in a Alfa 147, coloured black, or an Alfa 147, in the colour black :sly: I must make a competitor to it don't you think? Oh wait, I have 1, the family sedan :sly:

It certainly is hard racing with someone with a diferent style, but it was great fun. Do you have any idea the pace of our battle train? Every time, despite being a 3-way battle, we left any other racers in our dust. That's fast for a battle train.:D
So that 147 you were driving Rudi Raser, did that one have any suspension/settings work or just the performance points?
